He actually took his time to drive to salon to speak with Heather & Ashley about the texture of our daughters hair and the color she wanted. When they say Heather is an expert in this field they are not exaggerating. She knew exactly what Danika would need and the deep conditioning serum she personally made is to die for. I went to codyvbeauty for a trim on my long hair and had a very disappointing experience…read more This was my first haircut after regrowing my hair, so I was very clear that I wanted to preserve as much length as possible. Instead of an even trim, my hair was cut to noticeably different lengths in multiple areas. The ends were uneven and choppy, with some sections significantly shorter than others. During the appointment, I pointed out the choppiness and asked if it could be fixed. In trying to correct it, an additional 2-3 inches were cut off, but the unevenness was still not resolved. I ended up having to come back because each side of my hair was significantly different lengths. One side looked like it had layers, while the other side looked like a blunt, uneven chop. Even after the follow-up, the issue was not properly corrected. At this point, the only way to make my hair one consistent length would be to cut off far more than I was ever comfortable with. What should have been a simple trim turned into a situation that will take a long time to grow out and repair. If you have long hair and are trying to maintain your length, I would strongly recommend being cautious. He's a very nice man, just needs to refine his technique with long hair.

During one of my visits, I became intrigued by the gel nail polish. The fact that it was quick drying, not damaging to natural nails and wasn't a fake nail that would have to be pried off if I tired of them intrigued me. But, I was skeptical. I've been known to wear off the most expensive nail polish within days if not hours. Other customers attested to the fact that the gel polish lasted over two weeks. I am now sporting my 3rd gel manicure and despite using my nails to scrape off jelly on the counter, open a wine bottle wrapper and a million other things, my polish looks as good as the day I first got it over two weeks ago. The salon owner, Linda, is as pleasant as them come. She is a good conversationalist while focusing on her services. She takes her craft seriously and learns the proper technique and doesn't shortcut on materials. The salon carries a full line of beauty products for hair and skin, small gift items and health supplements. I've not known anyone who received hair services there yet but my hunch is that with the attention to detail and level of quality I've received with my massages and nails, that all of their services are five star.
