I called her early Friday morning asking her if she could come to my home in Oceanside to treat the lice my three year old and myself have. I also texted her, because this was urgent. I didn't hear back until the afternoon, by text, letting me know she didn't have time Friday, and that Jill would be available Saturday and what time could she come to my place. I said 1:00 on Saturday, but I wanted to speak on the phone beforehand to discuss her pricing before she came over to my place. This was all through text. I was nice and respectful. She never called me. Then she texted me that the treatment was $185 per person. I attached her advertisement of services in my text to her to understand her pricing. My understanding, see below, that the second person was extra $10.00 with checking for lice with treatment. There is no indication that there will be an extra $185 charge. I asked her to please call me, so I could understand. Also my hubby needed to be checked. I asked her was that $10 or $30? I was confused. I also wanted to talk to confirm she was coming the next day for sure at 1:00. I texted. No answer. I called, and asking nicely for a callback, telling Jill about the urgency, because I have lice and my little boy has them. I was more concerned for my little boy than myself, but we both needed to be treated. Then after all of my effort to get a response, she text messaged me at 7:30 at night letting me know to get someone else. I couldn't believe what I was reading from my text. I was always nice, respectful, and not rude in anyway in the calls and texts. I am including her pricing that is on Jill's webpage, so you can decide if her pricing is confusing. Thank goodness I went with a really great company that called me immediately, went to the place immediately, where the other company understood the urgency, especially when there is live lice on a little boy's head. We were so grateful it hadn't spread to anyone else in our household. Unfortunately, most mobile clinics only perform an oil treatment that kills live lice, not the eggs! An egg was missed during the combing process and two weeks later we found a bug and a few eggs in our daughter's hair, along with eggs in my husband's and son's hair. I texted Jill late in the evening, and she was at our house the next afternoon. Jill performs a heated dehydration treatment to ensure none of the lice eggs survive, a comb-out to remove dead eggs and lice, and an oil treatment to suffocate any live lice that may have survived the heat treatment. This is the same three-step process Lice Centers of America performs and it ensures no bugs are left behind. Although it may seem like a lot of money to spend on treatment, Jill's prices are fair and it'll save you money in the long run if you do it right the first time (I'm speaking from experience). Jill was so good with our kids, especially our wiggly three-year-old, and you can tell she finds joy in helping families overcome a lice infestation. First time getting lice at our house, and I was so happy to find Heavenly Hair. I was out of town…read moreback to back for work and was unable to check my daughter's hair, and when I got back she had full on bugs crawling around. I freaked out (naturally) and was able to get a same day appointment with Heavenly. She was absolutely amazing and so patient and understanding. I did the package A, which gave me "maintenance days" to continue treatment at home for the entire family, it also included shampoo for after care and oil removal. I had multiple questions for the after care and they continued to quickly respond and walk me through each process as needed. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is having issues with head lice. We did purchase an additional lice repellant spray (because I'm crazy) as well as the conditioner as that wasn't included. I absolutely love that they use natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals, as my entire family is very sensitive to chemicals and have very sensitive skin. If you're on the fence, don't be, they know their stuff, and I will 100% recommend them to anyone with this issue.
