Fresh seafood from Bluffton. You need to call ahead to place an order but it's fresh off the boat!

Amy was friendly, answered all our questions and warmed us some water to try her teas. She let us hang out on the property with our dog so we could relax and make some lunch before we hit the road again. Very peaceful experience.

The soft aroma of lavender upon the breeze, bees creating a soft buzzing sound, and a view of the sky bigger than the state of Georgia. This oasis from the urban setting is just outside of Dearing. Now I've had interaction with the owner before visiting, even purchasing some of the lavender rooibos tea with mint (one cup in the evening and you are ready for bed!). But to go there is an experience everyone within a 50 mile radius should know. That afternoon was sunny and free of clouds. The lavender, basil, and sunflowers were in bloom. Tomatoes were close behind. "Peaceful" doesn't even begin to describe my time walking around the property. It was like a day at the spa, minus the terrycloth robe. There are plenty of chairs/benches to have a seat, including some around a fire pit (for the cooler evenings). Though I expected all of this on some level, my amazement grew as I entered their shop. You thought the lavender was strong outside, but then you enter an enclosed space. Lavender batches drying along the wall, lavender candles, bath salts, lip balm, even infused in spices (such as salt, rubs for meat). I left that day with a carpet powder and linen spray. And I plan to return for more in the near future.

Once we finished up and returned to the sprinter, I steered us over here for a quick in‑and‑out shop, the kind of tactical grocery stop that becomes second nature when you're traveling and trying to stay on plan. A pack of sliced turkey, a pack of sliced cheese, a handful of cheese sticks, and a bag of pork rinds went straight into the basket. Yay, snacks. It felt like assembling a small survival kit for the rest of the morning. The only disappointment was the empty shelf where the keto sliced bread usually sits. Sad face. It's funny how you don't realize how much you rely on one dependable product until the spot is bare and you're left staring at the little price tag like it might magically summon a loaf. Other than that, it was an easy, pleasant shop. No line, no fuss, and the self‑checkout behaved itself. Within a few minutes we were back in the sprinter and heading toward downtown Augusta again, ready for more sightseeing and whatever the day wanted to hand us next, snacks safely tucked away for later. I don't remember her name but she is an older woman who wears glasses. She has been very rude and dismissive with me both times. The first time she didn't even really acknowledge me and one she was done ringing everything up and I paid she just threw the receipt on the table for me to grab. That alone felt very unprofessional when that is really her only job to provide good customer service and ring customers up. This time I went today and she was checking me out. She said how are you and i said good how are you and she said nothing. She then started bagging up my fruit and when she handed me my first bag she said "here's your bag of a ton of fruit" in a sort of annoyed tone which I just laughed off. Then she started putting my stuff in a second bag which was like a pineapple and some soup and then dropped the grapes and the peaches from a height on top of everything almost throwing it in the bag which was pretty inconsiderate. The next part is why i'm the most upset about this experience, she dropped the bag from a height onto the table basically throwing it you could hear it drop loudly on the table. And then she didn't even give me the receipt once again she just left it on the table for me to grab. I haven't had any other problems with ANY of the workers they are usually very sweet but that woman is very rude and unprofessional so watch out for her especially if you're buying fruit!!!!
