I've gone to Oriental Chi for a few years now, taking a hiatus during Covid and am now back to going regularly. This deep massage technique really helps arterial circulation and moving toxins out of the muscles. Drink plenty of water before and after massage. I get the table massage 60 minutes and foot massage 30 mins at least once a month. I always feel better after these massages and have recommended this particular shop many times. All of the staff are excellent. I give them five stars. read more

It's not your typical spa. You stay fully clothed, the mall can be a bit noisy at times BUT THE MASSAGES ARE AMAZING. I go at least once a month. I'll go a little more frequently this year because I received a gift card from each family member for Christmas. read more

I have come to this business about 4-5 times now. I wanted to try it a few times before giving a good or bad review since there were some allegations of improper behavior. I have been in the morning and afternoon and have had a massage or some sort of service by all 5 of the staff. I have done the chair massage and the foot massage and the table massage, I did them separate and some combinations like a 10 min foot and a 20 min chair. It's not private and I thought this would bother me but I have realized for me I don't care. And I like that I don't have to get undressed. For some people who like getting down to the undies for a massage-may not like it. I have found that Chi is not like a regular massage and they are putting pressure in points and they do ask questions like if you are Pregnant and often ask if the pressure is okay. The foot massage is amazing and I can't believe I have never had a foot massage like that. I would recommend for people who stand all day! The chair massage is good and they work your back shoulders and neck and arms. I like this when I want to do a quick massage. The table massage is the best, you have to understand they have to touch your legs and sides and shoulders and if you don't like to be touched , don't get a massage or tell them that you only want your back done. There may be a little language barrier but they do speak English. The staff is respectful and do a good job read more

My doctor said for me to get a deep tissue massage at least 1x/week. My husband has gone here often and raved about it. Deep tissue is not my choice of relaxation BUT the woman who massaged me was amazing! Although I had immense pain from the pressure and pressure points but she moved things and cracked things I didn't know could move and crack! Today was my 2nd and it's helping. read more

AMAZING!!! I always walked by but today I decided to try something new and BOY am I glad I did. I originally only wanted 20 mins, because that is all I thought I needed, I added more time on because the guy who worked on me was so amazing. I have to give qudos to the man who worked on me because he really worked his ass off, no joke. As soon as he touched my back he knew how deep to go. I can take a lot of pressure I almost thought I was going to have to "tap" out but didn't because deep pressure isn't supposed to necessarily feel good. I'm a licensed massage therapist...I've never been to a place like this before. Complete whim on my part but I'm glad I went. I've never felt so good. I plan on going back very soon. This place was amazing! Best to 10 minute massage I've ever had. The masseuse scanned my body and then worked on the areas that I actually needed work on rather than doing a general massage. He even cracked my upper back which is so hard to do and worked on my neck and shoulders which is probably why I've had a migraine this last week. this place is INSIDE THE MERRIT ISLAND MALL.....Kicking myself I didn't go sooner....I used to go for amazing massages in China Town Toronto and walked by this place thinking there was no way they could do a good as a job in massages than the ones there....boy was I wrong.....we had the 30 min body massage ($32) and they were amazing. This is NOT your spa, oil and zen music type of massage. This is a real deal tuina form of Chinese manipulative therapy often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, Chinese herbalism that goes with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - I didn't see those items on offer at this establishment ....just the massage. The therapist brush, knead, roll/press, and rub the areas between each of the joints, known as the eight gates, to attempt to open the body's defensive chi and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles - OMG amazing. It really has aligned my body in a phenominal way and feel like a brand new person. I had knots and blockages removed that have probably been sitting hiding in my body for years. I wish this place were closer as I would go more frequently....silly us ....we just tried the place when we are moving out of Cocoa :-( so kicking myself I didn't go sooner. Really felt like a million bucks after this massage - and a million tons have been removed from my shoulder, back and body. I say don't chintz...go for the full body 30 min massage....I seen people go in for 10-15 min session....but these peeps are so amazing at what they do ....(I know I have been to nearly every Chinese massage place in Chinatown Toronto, that really this place is excellent and well worth spending the extra $10 on yourself for the extra time and energy put into aligning the body into health). Oh well you live and you learn,,,,,I shouldn't have judged the book by the cover on this place......but I really had to write a YELP review on this so no one makes the same mistake I made......and give this place a proper try. It is NOT a oil and zen music type place,,,,,this is a real deal manipulative therapy that really gets into every nook and cranny of pain and muscle stress....so goes far beyond general massage (in my opinion), I love Tuina Chinese massage as it really is a DEEP TISSUE type of massage. read more

First time to this place and I will not be coming back. It's unfortunate because the massage was actually decent but the jerk who did it had the audacity to ask me if I have a baby in my stomach. I'm not even over weight, I'm very average weight. When I told him that he was rude he didn't even apologize. I told him that you never ask a woman about her weight or if she's pregnant. I would understand if I had a big beer belly or something but this play sure does know how to mess up your day. Screw that. read more

If I were reviewing this place based on the massage only it would be higher but overall experience is important. The employees are very nice but they push for the table massage. If I wanted the table I would have asked for the table. There are reasons people prefer the chair, like their head is stuffy, it hurts to lie probe on a table, etc. but the main thing is, it doesn't matter why the consumer decides what they want. Clean equipment after each person!!! Do not reuse the "blue" blanket from one customer to the next, GROSS. Also, DO NOT hire smokers. And the food that is eaten by the staff is super strong. Smoky, garlic, smelly hands and body does not set the tone for a relaxing massage. But any massage I've gotten here has been good so I go back. Just be careful and avoid the smokers and go before lunch. read more

I was with my two best friends and we were all waiting to get a massage. The main lady was so insanely rude to us that we ended up leaving.
