I have known the couple for many years. Since i was 10 years old. I would go to the shop and they would always show me the fun toys in the back and enjoyed kids in the store. I remember they got in some Anime stickers and I was so excited to see it for the first time. I brought my piggy bank and laid out all my coins on the counter. The lady was really nice and helped me count every penny to get what I wanted. I was there for an HOUR. She gave me my stickers with a smile and I kept doing that until left for Japan. I am from out of town. Reminded me of a Korean mom and pop shop. Needed basic necessities for personal choice of food like kimchi and other instant food items. Price wasn't too bad, considering the fact that it is somewhat in a remote city. The elderly couple were courteous and nice. read more

I like that the hair shop and gifts are separated, but if you're trying to pay by card at the hair side, you have to go next door then come back and show your receipt. Anyways, the hair side has a pretty good selection. The older lady was very helpful and patient. I'll be coming back here since Sally's doesn't have this large of a selection. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE...PERIOD!!!!! They try to rip off every item . They sell expired foods at overprice. If you have to go this place without an option, make sure to check expiration dates on every items. IF YOU CAN, PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE and go to another Asian Store. read more

It's a small mom and pops store, there's so much stuff cramp in this little area! It is just basic tourist things, nothing special. A lot of the Asian stuff is way overpriced. There is a little grocery store in the back of the store, and they do sell some Asian food items that I won't find in a regular super market. However, some stuff have expired so always check the dates before you buy! read more

This place is awesome! It's owned by a sweet couple, and they have everything you could imagine. I mainly go for the food market area of the store. I buy everything I need to make traditional asian dishes (i.e., lumpia, shao pao, rice cakes, pancit bihon and even sushi rolls!). They have tons of little nick nacks. I can get lost in this store for at least an hour without realizing it. They have tons of "girly" things like head bands and jewelry/clothes, flats/sandals..love it all. I bought a pair of black flats..which are cute and go with tons of outfits. They probably won't last me more than six months though. They have shiny quantities..not necessarily quality. Oh they also sell Shrimp Chips! Jumbo size! (guilty pleasure). all in all, check it out. So next to the two star rating, it says "Meh. I've experienced better." 3 star is "A-OK"... I'm sorry but I can't give it a 3 star and say it's A-OK! I know I'm in Yuma and I think there's only two Asian stores where I can get groceries..but both of them are just in such bad condition, I just can't get myself to give either of them anything higher than a 2 star rating. =( When I read the other two reviews, I thought, great, I can get some Korean groceries from here! But when I got to the store, I just could not get over the messiness/clutter. In order to get to the groceries, I had to just wander around. While wandering around, I couldn't imagine that groceries would be sold in the same area as some of the things I was walking past. There are some really old stuff there that needs to be thrown out. At some point, when nobody is buying a certain item, it's time to take it as a loss, mark it at 70% off and just get it out of the store. But even though the items are broken/dirty/dusty, it's all just there. What gets to me is that there doesn't seem to be any attempt to deal with it. I think when they get more items, they just pile it on top of what they already have. The only NEATLY kept area is the shoe area...and that's because the shoe boxes were just stacked on top of each other and in rows. When I got to the grocery section...three things popped into my head: 1) I'm not eating anything from this store. 2) But the prices are decent. OK, so maybe I'll buy Mirin from here because I won't be able to find it at Walmart. 3)Something needs to be done about the dinginess There is potential for this store... I LOVE bargain stores. I love going to the Dollar Store or 99 Cents Only Store...but that's because they're clean, organized, well lit, and have staples, in addition to new/seasonal items constantly coming through their doors. Meh' lots of stuff and I mean a ton of stuff. Store is too cluttered it was overwhelming just being in there, but they do have some awesome stuff. I'd probably go back for the makeup and dinnerware though. Nice shop just very full and cluttered. I am going to wish them some luck as they need a bigger store. This store is part asian variety store and mini-part groceries (in the back of the store). One of the owners is Korean so there seems to be more Korean groceries. Weekly shipment of some fresh asian produce. I was happy to see that they had the dried chinese mushrooms that I needed. This place is good for gochejang or pajeon mix but if you want a larger selection of asian groceries go to the new Asian Store that just opened on Catalina Dr. and 4th Ave. read more

I really like this place, it's actually pretty large compared to our other local Asian shops. There is a TON of stuff in here but it gives you a lot to look at. Absolutely makes it worth the trip. Lots of food, clothes, makeup, and candy. read more
