Really fun stop. You can tell you're getting close because the signs directing you are huge. If you like local touristy stuff, this place has it. Well, it has lots of other stuff too including peanuts and more peanuts. It's not just peanuts from a lot of different nuts and foods. it's fun checking out the all the packaged snacks they sell. It's definitely a place for Arizona gifts and treats for yourself. Another treat is they have great fudge they make, they sell and even give you tastes of. I like going to the Peanut Patch just for something to do on a boring day. They have the basic things you would find in a food gift shop. Jellies, salsas, soup mixes, candies and of course peanuts. What I like is that they have a large assortment of homemade fudge and free samples. Also 6 or 8 different kinds of ice cream. Get a cone or bowl. And the prices are pretty cheap compared to most places. As of 2025 it's still $2.00 a scoop. They close down in May for the Season and reopen in October read more

Driving home from San Diego. We stopped in Yuma and I went inside the peanut patch. It's a cute store with lots of yummies! I purchased like $70 worth of goodies to try including canned jams . Lately, I've liked the black jellybean. Which is not something I normally like they had this bridge mix and I bought a bag. Now I'm obsessed with it. It's so freaking good. I was so upset that I only bought one bag. I went to their website and realized I could order from their website and I did I got my bridge mix. I was also able to buy some peanut brittle which I had not purchased before and glad I did. It was really fresh and delicious. I don't have much to do in Yuma but next time we stop through I'll definitely be going to the peanut patch again If I could only change one thing. It would be that they would sell T-shirts that say Yuma only because my husband wanted one and we couldn't find one anywhere. read more

A long time ago, when I was really little 5 or 6 my parents took me to a Peanut Farm to pick my own . That was such a fond memory of mine, I literally looked for decades to find that peanut place to see if I could go back. I was thrilled out of my mind to find not only are they in business, but right here in Yuma !! I got to visit with their wonderful owner Donna who owns The Peanut Patch now, and Samantha and Pattie here at the fair. Very rude! I went in with my 83 year old mother on Saturday. My Mother, who has a hearing impairment, was carrying her 4lb poodle (a registered service animal). He refused to let her in. It's located in one of the prettiest parts of the city (in my opinion. The drive to get here is lovely!). There's something here for everyone! Parking is plentiful. The prices are reasonable. The restrooms were clean and tidy. There's a post office inside the store. The employees there were all friendly. Seriously my only complaint is that they are closed during the summer months. And I get it, it's a necessity sometimes here in Yuma, and it might be important to have the doors closed for any necessary behind-the-scenes maintenance also. In the rear of the building is a United States Post Office Annex. So great! You can buy your gifts & send them from the same place! So convenient! Like so many other snowbirds from all over the United States, and Canada, I come to Yuma from New Hampshire every winter. I had an $84 gift box sent to my brother last March 2022 as a gift. Just as I was leaving to come to Yuma this winter, my brother said he decided to tell me not to have any more gift boxes from the Peanut Patch sent to him. He didn't want me to feel embarrassed and wasn't going to tell me, but he decided it was better to tell me that the fudge and a few other things in the box were moldy, and the peanuts were rancid in the last gift box I sent. He said, don't waste your money because he had to throw the entire box away. It wasn't as if it was sitting in the post office before he got it. He received the gift box 4 days after the Peanut Patch sent it. I bought peanuts for myself the same day, and found them to be rancid, but did not return them because I was already on my way east for the spring.. So I am now back in Yuma and it is January 2023 so I stopped in and told the manager what had happened and asked for a refund of my money. He tried to make up all kinds of excuses, and even asked me how hot was my vehicle when I put the peanuts in it and tried to also blame the gift box on the post office in spite of my telling him that my brother received the gift box within four days and I would have no problem calling him so he could verify that the goods were all moldy and rancid. I had a record of what I paid because I had charged it on my credit card and even pulled it up on my phone to show him the bank entry which is my receipt. The manager 's personality was not friendly or understanding,, and had no business skills at all. I knew before I even finished telling him what happened that he was absolutely not about to refund my money. He does not stand behind his goods, and I noticed many other customer reviews that talked about his products being stale. I also had bought a coffee mug with a peanut patch logo on the side, and half of it wore off the first time I washed it. I do not recommend the peanut patch because the manager does not stand behind his products, and will not refund your money when you find his products to be stale, moldy and rancid.
