Once again, this store impressed me. I stopped in today seeking a special gift for a female friend of mine that is into manga and Japanese anime characters. This store in the Colorado Mills Mall has an incredible selection of such things and is the first place I thought of when a gift came to Kind. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. I like the fact they don't shy away from stocking and displaying the Topless and nude characters as well. A lot of anime is Topless and/or nude and many places simply won't carry it. I found some great pieces, made my purchases and left. This store is always clean and bright and a joy to shop. They also stock a huge selection of water bongs and smoking type supplies. I really enjoy this store and love stopping in. read more

This place is trash. I walked in last week to get my daughter a Labubu. The guy instantly says "we have authentic labubu's" when in reality they are fake. He scammed me out of my money and I got a fake labubu for my daughter. Do NOT buy from them. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My sister visited this store with my 5-year-old niece and was harassed by the employees. They followed her out of the store, accusing my niece of stealing the Cinnamoroll bag she had with her upon entering the store. One of the employees even tried to grab the bag, which my sister had purchased at an entirely different store. To make matters worse, they sell cheap knock-offs. With this kind of customer service, it's better to just buy the items online for a much cheaper price. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

I usually come to this store when at the Colorado mills mall. The last two times I was there the employees/owners were rude and racist. The first time it happened, at the beginning of the year they followed me around the store and stood at the end of their isles staring at me while I was browsing incense. There were many other people in the store but they followed the only person of color around. The last time, last week in November 13th, all the employees were wearing masks but when I went to Ask the employee a question he took his mask off and answered it then started coughing in my face. The lady at the counter also pulled her mask down. I'm disappointed because I gave so much money to this shop back when I went to college around there. I'm just surprised that treatment like this still exists. read more

My friend had already left a review about this store telling our side of the story. TLDR: Me, my sibling, and he had just been constantly harassed and degraded from the moment we stepped into the store. First, a female employee/owner kept watching us, which was super creepy. Only halfway through our personal browsing a male employee/owner accused me and my friends of stealing, when we weren't. Our bag we carried was just used for my friend's coat and the things we wanted to buy later when we were done looking through the entire store's sections. We weren't even done looking through the entire place yet. In the end, the man idiotically called security on us, and they didn't even bat an eye to our side of the story. We could only stand there in shock, one from being falsely accused of stealing, two because of the grown man's hissy tantrum. I'm frankly appalled because when we were paying, the four small keychains/pens we were buying (that did NOT have price tags on them) came out to 65$! That much for bootleg keychains is absolute BS. And the lady over the counter gaslit us into buying anyways, saying "This proves you were stealing." WHILE THEY WERE ALSO TRYING TO KICK US OUT!? By that point we were so done with this store's reputation, we didn't even care about being banned. Not a good place to look for anime merchandise, most of it is bootleg anyways, and the employees are unreasonably rude. read more

The staff is very welcoming and nice. But all the prices are scam prices. An OTF non/no name brand knife they were selling was priced at $120 when that should have been no more than $25 or $30 in a real knife shop. I have many knives my self and been around them my whole life. I own a name brand OTF knife that didn't cost me more than $65 and no name brand out there sells one like that for that much. The only knifes that are that much are made with high quality materials. The handle for the one they were selling was plastic and the action of the OTF sounded like it would break in less than a year. read more

Was just looking around with friends and was looking a the knifes and their are good knife there but also cheep ones, I was just going to get some throwing knives and was looking at the pocket knives and the guy there pressured me into getting a pocket knife as well even though I said no 3 times and then just gave in, I get it he wants to sell things it's business and I was taking a while to look but I'm the customer, not just a guest, I help run a business and know what customers are like and the way he sells things is not right. The throwing knives are ok, the strings fell off of them immediately and feel flimsy but they are 20$, you get what you pay for so that's my fault I should've knew. The 40$ pocket knife however broke by just opening it as intended I will try to get a replacement and if I do get a replacement I will change my review completely, But for now I wouldn't really recommend. read more

My favorite mall store. Actually, the only store in the mall that I'll go into willingly, without being dragged by the ears by my more conventional friends. This is a shop with real variety- get yourself a slightly naughty wall hanging, a Rottweiller statue, a kimono, and some mace- one stop shopping! Actually, I mainly go here to ogle the wall of Paul Chen swords. These are the best mass-manufactured swords there are, according to an informal poll of my boyfriend and his martial arts buddies. They voted unanimously for Paul Chen, and after seeing the boy hack a seriously thick roll of chain link fence in half with his Chinese Broadsword by Paul Chen, I think I agree. All I know about swords could be contained in a paragraph, but I know that these are very pretty, very sharp, very expensive, and come with a lifetime guarantee. Also, you need to be 18 to touch one- same with the other weapons Oriental Gifts carries. If you happen to find yourself in Colorado Mills- I recommend against it- make sure that you stop by Oriental Gifts and check out the pretty shinies. read more

Inside the Colorado Mills mall on the south side of the mall by Famous Footwear. This gift store is run by a local family and they are really nice. I always go in to see what new stuff they have. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Do not give this store your money, my son who is a black belt has shopped here for many years. While a lot of what he has purchased has been kitschy nonsense he has saved up for some pretty awesome weapons. We have always been greeted with enthusiasm (as long as we were spending) and he was always happy to be there. We have probably spent in excess of $1,000.00 with them. Today we had our first return ever. We bought a knife that he admired last week and it fell apart immediately. We were there with other friends, all of who wanted to make a purchase and were treated so poorly, the sales clerk blamed my child who by the way has been handling fine weaponry for over a decade. I have never been treated so rudely, a lot of what they have is schlock, but still shouldn't fall apart upon opening We will never return to this store again.
