Love this restaurant friendly staff and lots of good choices to choose from. Never disappointed great food.

We ordered the broccoli beef and Soo chicken. Each comes with a side (rice or egg roll). The beef was tender and broccoli cooked well. Soo chicken was also good. There is also an option for buffet. Lunch ~$11.50 and Dinner ~$13.50. We decided to look around the buffet and order what looked best/what we wanted separately. (You get more meat + it's warm and fresh when ordered separately!!) The food there has always been really good and some days it's amazing, we went around 8ish pm because we were waiting for people to get off work in my household. I get it we went an hour before they closed but the stuff there didn't have to talk about us being there even tho they had an hour left before closing also to the other families that came in the workers was all getting really tired of us being there. read more

First time going and ordered to go. when placing order they tried to charge us a higher price when their menu clearly stated different. Asked for a specific item listed on their menu "sweet and sour chicken only" and they gave us plain chicken. We also ordered Kung Pao chicken and they pretty much gave us the veggies and nuts that go with the chicken and barley any chicken. They do not offer food for people with food allergies. They charge extra. So, if you have food allergies don't go here. The other thing they did wrong is tell me I cannot have my service dog with me because they will jump on the buffet and eat the food. That is not true about a service dog . If they are trained right they won't. That and what she going to say if there is a blind customer and he walked to the buffet to see what he wanted with help. Heavy handed on the sugar even the broccoli and beef was sweet. The hot and sour soup was to sweet to eat. The beef was pretty good in 2 of the dishes. I'm on a low carb diet and can usually do pretty good. But every dish was really sweet. Probably won't be going back. read more

I went there with my fam just the other night we had to wait for a table but that's okay so we ate it was really good but they made us pay 70$ there was 2 adults 3 kids but one was counted as an adult so we got charged extra so if you got 12 year olds beware that your ganna be spending some money. read more

I had the pleasure of taking my girlfriend out to eat at Oriental House and I assure you it will be the last. The food was bland and tasteless, the fried rice was lacking color, flavor and variety. The lo mein was soggy and greasy, our waitress, though very friendly, seemed to rush us through our meal and gave us our check the SECOND we sat down with our food. The chefs who prepared the food clearly did not know the meanings of the words "marinate" and "tenderized" for the Chicken Teriyaki sticks and Orange Chicken that we ate had a hard texture and was flavorless. The food being served at the buffet seemed to have been sitting there for quite some time and everything we ate seemed to of been loaded with MSG. Overall the food was not authentic and the quality of the dishes were indeed poor. Even though, with that said, Oriental House is indeed a good place to bring families too for quick, affordable, "Chinese" food, Also with the high school right by it, Its always guaranteed to have hungry teenage customers. If you want to be full, By all means dine at Oriental House, but if you want flavor and authenticity, I recommend you turn somewhere else. read more

This is a clean well kept restaurant, the food is good and freshly cooked. The buffet is at is best at 11:30am. The staff are friendly and it has a typical Chinese restaurant feel to it. You can tell the owners take pride in this place. There is plenty of seating and a very little wait time. Except for Sunday mornings. This place gets packed fast. read more

It's a decent, middle of the road Chinese buffet and nothing more. It is the better choice of the two if you're considering Happy House (GAG.) O House (as the locals call it) is the best restaurant in Neosho. Not that that's really saying anything. The waitstaff is pleasant, the refills are endless and the place is clean. The food is mostly average. My biggest complaint is the teriyaki kebabs and "hot" wings. The sauce is poured on while cooking instead of being marinated, so the inside is dry and flavorless. Used to be one of the best restaurants in town. Now the drive thru menu has decreased and is extremely slow. And if you come though the drive thru within an hour of closing, their menu is reduced to 2 items! Quality of food has greatly declined since new ownership! read more

I don't usually go to Neosho, but we were in town for an auction, and I was hungry. The decor was nice, clean and a little more put together than the normal Chinese buffet in SWMO. I didn't have anything that wasn't good! The Soo's chicken, beef broccoli, and chicken teriyaki skewers were some of my favorites. They did have sushi and that's not my thing, but it actually looked really good! Just basic California rolls I think, but they looked really fresh and full. When we're back in this area I would certainly come back. read more

NOTE TO SELF: Don't drive do Missouri on an empty stomach. Because then you'll see this nice looking Chinese building that for some reason has 4.5 stars on Yelp. You'll get tricked in to eating here. Oriental House is okay, but you have to know what you're getting: completely inauthentic "Chinese" food served from a trough. If you think heavily breaded chicken nuggets soaked in high fructose corn syrup is Chinese Food and judge the quality of a meal upon how many plates you can clean for $8, then you'll probably dig this place. That $8 even includes an Eastern-style soft serve ice cream with sprinkles... or five of them. It's a buffet! read more

Best Chinese place in Neosho. Buffet is usually pretty good but the best thing they have is General Tso Chicken (carry-out).

This is our favorite restaurant in Neosho. The family who owns the restaurant is so friendly to all of their customers and work hard to make sure everyone has a great dining experience. The buffet has at least 30 items including seafood, chicken dishes, fresh fruit and salads, and a soft ice cream machine. Most of the waitresses have been at the restaurant for years, another sign of the family atmosphere. We always have a wonderful meal every time we go to the Oriental House. read more
