We got there and they had some Edward mangos available to purchase. They let us try some mangos and we bought some. It was $5 a lbs. The first day we went we got a bag for $22 and we went back there two days later and bought another bag for $20 and ended up bringing a little tree home for $40 (Dwarf Hawaiian) - can't wait to see my little tree growing! The Edward mangos were delicious! It was flavorful and fiberless. Yum! The workers are very knowledgeable and very nice. They explained about the magos and how to care for them. The market stretched for quite a few blocks down Clematis Street which was closed to car traffic. There were a lot of people selling clothing and jewelry. A couple folks had collectibles/antiques. I'm not sure why it's still called a "green" market as we didn't see much edibles/food nor produce. The street was quite busy. I'm not sure how much selling the vendors were doing, however. I thought prices of many of the items were quite high. Then again the folks slumming from the "island" (palm beach) wouldn't mind a bit. Although we didn't buy anything, we always enjoy browsing.
