Felt like a straight-up lie to avoid taking phone orders. Ordered an açaí bowl at the counter. Ingredients looked fresh and it was made to order, but it still took a solid 10 minutes for something that should've been fast in an empty shop. The bowl itself was good -- nice fruit, decent portion -- but the peanut butter drizzle was that super-sweet, processed squeeze-bottle stuff that tastes like candy more than actual peanut butter. Kind of defeats the "natural" vibe. Paid almost $14 after tax... felt steep for what it was. The space is small and honestly feels cluttered -- random shelves, mismatched furniture, layout is a little chaotic. Not the chill, Instagram-worthy health cafe vibe you might expect. Bottom line: the food is decent if you're already nearby and not in a rush, but the customer service mishap and pricing left a bad taste. I'll probably pass next time unless they get the online ordering actually working (or just admit they take phone orders).

I asked for a mug again and they said I had to pour it in myself due to it's too hot to carry? The mug comes on a serving plate .. that's what the plates are for to carry it. They maybe had last issue of people spilling or burning but you don't throw away the common sense experience of drinking out of a mug vs coffee fist in a wax lined / plastic cup. The whole experience is lost and the name means Pure Life.. this is like in nyc where all the cvs shelves are locked up because of a few criminals. Instead of dealing with the problem the problem is passed down to everyone. I went to Maman for my second cup because Puta Vida would not refill my glass cup without first putting it into another throwaway cup. The waste. Such a beautiful place and yet this one simple thing to me is away from core values of a business. My two cents .
