Seems there are a lot of therapists who claim they do lymphatic but I feel it's rare you actually find someone professionally trained. Dali knew exactly what she was doing and was comfortable the entire time. A lymphatic massage should not hurt, it's pretty light pressure and I wouldn't consider it a massage. Yes things are happening but it's not super pleasurable like a Swedish massage just so you know what to expect. The office was super cute, there is a little shop in the lobby with crystals and such which I had to check out as well. I've actually bought a few things from the crystal shop in the past but this was my first visit in for Dali. Because of this pain I deal with on a day to day basis, I decided that I would finally do something that I had not done before as what I was doing for pain management for years was not working. I scheduled my appointment on-line and completed the preliminary paperwork on-line before the start of the appointment. In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is based on the theory that your health depends on the flow of qi (energy) in your body. This energy travels along invisible pathways, known as meridians, that are found throughout the body. A blocked or disrupted flow of qi can have a negative effect on your physical and mental health. Acupuncture aims to restore the flow of qi by resolving any blockages or disruption. Prior to getting stated with my session, Jayme asked me about my background, what my pain points were, etc. This allowed her to get an idea how to best help me. After the conversation, Jayme began to place needles in various parts of my body for my session. With the needles inserted, I laid face down on a message table for about 20 minutes. When the needles were removed, I felt centered and calm. Literally, my mood was totally changed and the stress seemed to just float out of body.
