Their preparation doesn't allow for the ingredients to cook together for the synergy of flavors. The dinner my husband ordered was the fried pork with migas - bread crumbs with asparagus. It uses identical chunks of pork. Migas is vry traditional dish of the area, looks a little like mashed potato, and I suppose in the old days a great way to upcycle old bread into a delicious side. The version here has lots of garlic - whole cloves of them - in it so I did enjoy it a lot, just wih it weren't so filling. Overall flavor is not bad, glass of wine is 2.50 Euro.
