What wonderful conversation during my visit; I felt comfortable and so welcomed. He knew exactly what to do and took his time, even though I could see that the salon was preparing for the art festival. I am very picky with my hair stylists and I couldn't recommend this salon more. A few hours later, I realized I left my scarf at the salon. When I went to walk back, the proprietor of the B&B intercepted me- Fintan (having remembered where I was staying during our chat) had found my scarf and brought it back for me. Incredible!

The beautiful girl who runs the salon and Mario, my stylist, took a look and discussed the hair for 10 minutes in Polish/English, making the options clear to me while I had tea. Mario put in highlights and coloured the remainder of my hair (took him ages as I have quite long hair). Then he washed it and put a toner in. Finally, after about 2 and a half hours of hard work on his part, it was time to get the scissors out. I was very satisfied with the elegant cut and blowdry he gave me and even happier with the colour, which was just the shade I had asked for. All of this cost 100 euros, which I thought was very good value for money for everything I got, and it took the whole afternoon! I'm usually disappointed by salons but I got everything I wanted here without breaking the bank.

They are generally quite flexible and can take you at short notice. They are a little expensive but fortunately run special offers regularly which make them more affordable. The only downside I think is that you are usually pushed around from stylist in one visit. It's not unusual to have 3 different people doing cut/colour/styling in one appointment.
