I have a lunch to go to so therefore I politely said WHY DID YOU SAY COME BACK she simple just walked off spoke her language even though they are in Australia and FRIGGING IGNORED ME. The customer service is appalling. I just checked out the reviews and people are not satisfied. A woman walked out woth an infection and they still continue on working under our rights that really doesn't give them the right to treat people accordingly. I would never go to their country and treat them with disrespect. Just an awful experience If they were Australian they would know how to run a business properly. Oh I forgot to say as soon as I said wwll Ill have to go somewhere else... she didn't care. Wish these people were educated on how to treat us Aussies. Remember without us there wouldn't be any business. All they do is take take take. You look at the front of the business they have all their washing hanging to dry at the front door. They talk to you about what you want and give you what you ask for. On the second visit they knew my name! The only downside is they can be busy, which can mean a wait. I have spent years trying to get nice fake nails. Now I have found where I can get them, they will create massive pretty things if you want but for me who has weak nails something natural is all I need.

The pedicure was great with a really nice calf massage and scrub and my nails turned out really well and so far have not chipped, but the French manicure was pretty bad. After she had finished there were spots that had not been painted white (that I had to point out) and she had also smudged some of the white colour on the clear part of my nails. It was a messy look and had started chipping by Sunday. For a total of $53 it wasn't even cheap enough to justify. In terms of Hygiene, Glo Nails have good practices using disposable linings for the foot baths and I saw another lady using the autoclave to sterilise equipment. They had a few women come in who seemed to be regulars and the ladies were all polite and happy so maybe they just can't do a French manicure well or that my experience was a one off.

Pasty winterised skin just ain't my thang, but unfortunately sunning it up for real in Sydney winter isn't exactly a possibility - unless you're a seal. One coat from Tan Appeal is like spending two weeks on a Bali deck chair - overnight. And recent spray tanning developments promise the best bronzed results eva. Gone are the streaky orange days of old, and that freakish diseased look skin used to take on as the faux began to fade. AND... you don't have to feel sticky and smell like a walking science experiment for 8 hours any more thanks to Tan Appeal's 2 hour tan option... which really means you need to leave it on for at least 4 hours, but hey - it beats 8. Be prepared to get this stuff all over the bed sheets, which could cause a domestic row with your significant other. Just remind him how hot you're gonna look on his arm as a result.

I am a regular at one of the more expensive tanning salons in the Eastern Suburbs and decided to try Tarryn as my regular salon hadn't returned my calls for a booking. Tarryn was able to fit me in on a Saturday with a couple of hours notice. I got the two hour tan (left it on for 3 hours as recommended) and was so impressed with the results. The coverage was amazing as was the colour - completely natural! The tan looks completely perfect 4 days later with no maintenance as I have not even been moisturising. I've paid almost double the price for tans in the past and the results haven't been anywhere near as good. Extremely happy and will definitely be back!

Worse still, someone sat at my feet, charged with the grim task of shaving my hard skin whilst I read a magazine. I just don't feel important enough for that but I've got used to it. I'm a brave girl. I think my experiences with 'Mosman Nail and Waxing' have played a part in making me enjoy pedicures. Yes, the girls are Asian, so therefore giggle and whisper in tongue foreign to me but at least their happy. I've been to other places where the banter between the workers feels very pointed to the customer but not so here. They ladies there are all delightful and that's proven by the obvious number of regulars. With OPI polishes they do a good job and it's reasonably priced at too. One bad experience with a French polish on my toes that made me look like Princess Fiona on prom night hasn't even put me off. I will return.
