Absolutely the best personal training I have ever had. I'm trying to articulate exactly what made…read moretraining with Martin Ebner such a success. I guess it's really the combination of his personality and knowledge (he pushes you with good humor. And as a result I found it pushed me in just the right way. The atmosphere of the stunning park that he trains in as well as the work itself which is structured and tailored to get the results you want and in a week I've already seen a huge difference. He focuses on diet and nutrition as well which of course is everything. I would highly recommend Martin to anyone who is looking to be their best self and wanting to push their limits. Get out there and do it.

We quickly accomplished my workout goals with his personalized workout plans. Was very sad to see him leave Buenos Aires. Upon his departure he left me with multiple workout options to do on my own as well as nutrition tips to maintain the body we've built together! Couldn't be more grateful.

In Barcelona there are a lot of places for culture, art and the sights, as well as fab wine and…read morefood, but not so many that provide a boutique workout as well as a truly excellent instructor. Studio 180 and the owner, Fiona, provides quality instruction and the quaint, authentic environs of the old city. As I take Pilates back in the States, I signed up to take Studio 180's signature morning Pilates class. There were two other ladies in class with me, one Spanish speaking and the other spoke English. Fiona easily kept both languages up, in a calming but firm voice, and lead us through a vigorous but not painful hour class. The studio is on a quiet street, up a bit of a hill (pre-workout warm up! post workout cool down!), in the safe and mulit-national neighborhood of Poble Sec. It took me just 4 minutes walk up from Av Paralel and the metro stop (purple or green line, exit on the Nou de la Rambla side, near the Apolo). Really liked the tranquil feel of this small, but spacious studio. It could easily fit 8 clients, so as we were 3 it was lots of room to spread out with the props Fiona's classes provide (at no extra charge) for the class. The overall charge is a bargain at 10€ and she has packages. There are other types of classes too, but haven't tried those yet. Definitely my favorite place to workout in Barcelona and have personalized, excellent instruction. TL/dr: fitness classes in a personalized setting at a great price in historic BCN

Situation just across the park near Born district. Seeing a familiar gym with English was definitely a warm welcoming. Trying to find a gym (weights, cardio machines, ect.) in Europe is tougher than it seems. My girlfriend and I came here on the tail end of our European "food" tour. A much needed place to put all those carbs to good use. The gym was perfect and quaint. Had plenty of cardio equipment. Treadmills, stairs, and bikes. Had enough weights for the amount of people in there. They even had two squat racks and a deadlifting setup. TV's all over with ok music in the background. The gym trainers that signed us up for our 4 day pass were extremely friendly and spoke great English (our Spanish isn't). For a place to get a great workout in Barcelona, I would highly recommend. Definitely a great place for locals and even tourists like ourselves.
