We took his advice, completed all the paperwork, and had the monthly premium automatically deducted from our bank account. Unbeknownst to us, we continued to be charged for the old Mass Mutual policies after the Principal policy charges were instituted by Vision. Then our Vision rep passed away. We contacted Vision management to request that our duplicate-policy charges be refunded, as we had canceled the Mass Mutual accounts and should not have been charged. Sam Terrazzino at Vision explained to me that this is not an unusual error, and our rep would have needed to take a second step of contacting the old policy company even after termination paperwork was submitted, which did not happen in our case. Nevertheless, Vision refuses to refund the payments for the policy we canceled. Vision is unwilling to make this right. Avoid this company.
