It was an excellent experience although the stadium was not well attended as it was Wednesday. We found that the management and banquet team and all associates were welcoming and very astute in ensuring that our needs were met. It was very clean and a fun experience for our team. This was an A+ experience and I would recommend this type of event to other companies that want to have outings at the stadium.

This honestly is an amazing family friendly atmosphere that if you enjoy being outside and baseball you will not be disappointed. Everything is very reasonably priced and they are always running specials such as the game we went to tonight where every seat in the park was five dollars. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because the bathroom wasn't very clean but then again what do you really expect at a baseball stadium. Also the food is a little bit pricey. I believe a hotdog was $5 and I got a chicken nugget basket with french fries and a drink and that was $12. So if you're a big family I would definitely suggest grabbing something before going to the game as far as food goes, but overall it's definitely a great experience On a sidenote, I believe the 2019 season is the last year they will be in Kissimmee, so make sure you check the website to see where their new home is going to be.

So cheesy that it was a melt but all good fun with the giving out of prizes every half inning and some fun nonsense with Shelldon. No seat is a bad seat, well maybe with the exception of baking out in the sun on the 3B side bleachers or if you're lucky enough to get stuck behind one of the posts that supports the roof, and since attendance is always seemingly miserable you can score great seats at the last minute. The food selections are basic (some minor league parks really have expanded and bougified their offerings) but here it's still your basic dogs, burgers, pretzels, chicken fingers, funnel cake fries that make up the back bone of the menu. The good thing is that prices across the board are very reasonable and the surroundings are small/informal enough that the friendliness of the staff really shines through. The Tortugas won and we saw some good pitching from Daytona along with two home runs. Sure there were also a few mental lapses from St. Lucie that equaled two errors but it was still a solid game. Good pricing, super easy to do everything from park, get tickets, find your seat, etc. All in all a great time. Definitely a must do!

Fun fun fun. The JACK aka Jackie Robinson baseball park. Can't wait until season starts on 04/09read more

Complex is easy to get to being a part of Disney with parking being an ease. Pick a sport, name a sport... ESPN got with their huge baseball complex and indoor arenas. The many dozens of outdoor fields can hold many games at the same time. Although the field quality can be better but it's not horrible considering the amount of traffic and events they hold so kudos to the ground crew for keeping the field quality decent considering the amount of usage weekly. The complex is organized and easy to get around. Wish they would strongly enforce a harder trash mandate to ensure patrons pick up after themselves as more often than none, teams and patrons leave a mess around bench's and team sidelines after each game. Although it's not ESPN's fault and more on the citizens attending events to clean up after themselves. They have several food outlets and vendors and food trucks for those long days on the field. With the hot Florida sun, love that they have watering and hydration stations around the fields with plenty of water coolers to help athletes stay cool and hydrated. However, I wish they have more shaded areas and maybe even covered spectator viewing areas or benches as the sun can be brutal so come prepared with your own tent or umbrella, etc Overall, attended many events and competitions at the venue and it's always a great facility and they always put in a great show overall!

However, around COVID, I decided not to renew, so it has been a few years since I've been to a game. The reps from the team have been in contact with me often over the last several years. The call and they email, asking if I want to buy another season or package of games. Apparently, all my points from lion nation have added up? They said I had credit in my account that I could use towards tickets. I used my credit to get a three game package in the vip section which includes all you can eat and drink (NA/beer/wine). We went to a Saturday game and had a great time. The seats were great- I could see the plays happening and nothing blocked my view. The food has suffered a bit of a decline. No longer do they serve elaborate charcuterie tables, but instead have a few hot items and the typical hot dog plus/minus chili cheese. That night it was pasta, Chicken and waffles and pork taco. The food was just ok. For beverages, their coolers were full all night with water, soda and sparkling water. We did not want to have beer or wine. They do sell cocktails. The lounge experience has gone downhill. It no longer seems like a vip experience because there are just too many people. They have a huge TV now and they got rid of the small merchandise shop. The lounge is unbelievably noisy. It was difficult to find a place to sit and eat. I do like that it has bathrooms, so I don't have to go far and miss the game. The D entrance is nice too- it's private and has clean bathrooms and a way to get to the regular concourse if you desire. I do like the team. I also enjoy the game. However, I don't think the vip experience is worth it. Just get the cheap tickets and eat on the concourse or go out to eat after the game. You can get a great view from many seats in the stadium. I love that you can go to the game on any budget- they have cheap tickets in the supporter section. It's affordable for most people. I will continue to support the team and I will finish my package of games. I still have more credit so I'll invite some friends. But if I buy tickets in the future, it won't be for the vip lounge experience. I'd rather get a suite or sit in the regular seats.

You can watch a replay of the entire game if you have a subscription to ESPN+. You can watch the Magic's championship ceremony here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7G0-ouUtdc. Stan Heath was the coach of the 2021 championship team. He coached Lakeland from 2017 to 2021. Before becoming head coach of the Magic, he was a fairly successful college coach. That's where I remember him from. Heath led 10th-seeded Kent State to the 2002 Elite Eight. One of his sons, Josh Heath, played three seasons at Georgia Tech (my school). After winning the 2021 G League championship, Stan Heath has returned to the college ranks. He was hired to be the head coach at his alma mater, Eastern Michigan. Class of 2019 Princeton alum Devin Cannady was named 2021 G League Finals MVP. Shortly afterwards, he signed contracts with the Orlando Magic and appeared in eight games in the NBA before injuring his right ankle. Former NBA and European pro basketball player Anthony Parker has managed the Lakeland Magic since 2017. I remember Anthony Parker best for his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers. His first year in Cleveland was LeBron James' last (of James' first stint with the Cavs). He was a significant contributor to that Cavs team that lost in the 2010 Eastern Conference Semifinals to the Boston Celtics. LeBron then left for Miami and the rest is history. The Magic have been successful since moving to Lakeland, outside of Tampa, in 2017. The team has qualified for the playoffs every year since they've been in Lakeland. They won the Southeast Division in 2019 and made it to the Eastern Conference Finals that year. This team used to be the Erie BayHawks of Erie, Pennsylvania (2008-2017). A new Erie BayHawks team was formed in 2019 and, only after a couple of years, was moved to Birmingham, Alabama. The Lakeland Magic officially own the original Erie BayHawks' franchise history.
