I have called into this particular branch quite a few times for work. Our business account is held here and we are based right across the road so I have been sent in here to lodge cash and the like. The staff are really lovely in this branch, very helpful and efficent, always serving me with a smile on their face. I have worked in banks before and know it isn't the best job in the world so I applaud them for always providing an excellent and polite service.

I have had to go in here a couple of times with my friend and checked out the level of service that was on offer. To be honest I wasn't blown away by the service but I have definitely seen worse. The queue was quite long when I was first in but the tellers managed it well and there was plenty of self service options for anyone who didn't want to queue. The staff were friendly, efficent and helpful when we finally got to the counter so I can't really complain about this place at all.It was clean and tidy and certainly not a bad experience at all.

The first gentleman who helped me wrote me a list of suggestions to help me get my account set up then I had another lovely lady help me open it up and was very patient with my son who was with me and a little fussy. As well as having a friendly staff, one of whom also supported my beloved AC Milan, the service here was thought to be very good and I hope I kept up that reputation. Although, from memory the note counter broke and I think I had a bit of a nightmare that day. Since I worked there, this branch as merged with the the old Shaftsbury Square branch and the service is still just as good. I have been in a few time since doing some business and the new, modern look on the inside exudes professionalism and the service matches the look. They had some teething problems but this is certainly one of the best Northern Bank branches, particularly as it is busy due to the large, local student population.
