I enjoyed my very first visit to orthopedic Associates. I have a follow up in a few weeks, but the first visit was great. I met with Dr. Barkoh and he was attentive and genuine with his care. Office experience is horrible! Was calling for a whole month to get a release for my son, no help at all. Had to take off work to get one piece of paper that I was told they could email me. Left multiple messages and was advised of 24h turn around which is not true! Then I'm in the office and they act clueless about my multiple requests. I see why they are not affiliated with the high school sports anymore, unprofessional and not reliable. read more

I was in and out of there in under 30 minutes. From check in, initial exam, X-rays, doctor visit, and treatment...the process was extremely fast and efficient. I was literally blown away. Never had an experience like it. Even better, the treatment actually worked! Went from not being able to use my left ankle or left wrist, to full use within a couple of days. Second visit with Dr Lin, but never got to see him. Got there 15 minutes early and after being in waiting room over an hour, I had to leave. I am 82 years old and the pain was just getting to bad. Office had no idea when I would be seen, so I cancelled my appointment and left. I now have to go back to my Dr and get a new referral. To see Dr Lin be prepared for a long long wait in waiting area. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Riedel's for some time and I have received nothing less than professional services from the doctor and her entire staff. I am so torn about this review. Their service is so excellent but it literally takes FOREVER. I checked in at 2:30 PM and it's already 4:30 and I haven't even been called. They hardly had anywhere to sit , I had to stand outside and there is people packed up in the waiting room that have been here for hours. Dr. Lin is great but I just cannot come back. I don't have this kind of time. I am not retired with all the time in the world. read more

Wonderful experience with this practice and Dr. Shaun Weaver. I had sudden stiffness in both knees after walking vigorously for a week (ah, to be 40...). I have a past history of a knee fracture (hairline) that was the most excruciating pain, so naturally I'm very cautious when I have pain. I was able to get an almost-immediate appointment with this facility, and all my needs were addressed. One hiccup: I received a call the day of my appointment from a staff person asking to reschedule, because my initial doctor was in a 911 situation. I completely understand, but I was obviously disappointed. She managed to find me an opening with Dr. Weaver. Dr. Weaver himself is awesome. He took every opportunity to listen and ask great questions, and I felt like he also understood everything. Sometimes it's hard to explain where pain is, or where it is not, but he actually took the time to work with my knees to see exactly what was happening. Everyone made me feel welcome. read more

I went for my follow up appointment to see Dr. Harvey in the Kingwood location. When I got there i notice someone new. I went up there to ask a question and she(Ruth) was very rude. She has a horrible attitude. She's not a professional person to be working at a Dr's office. I'll never go see Dr.Harvey again. If you do go see Dr.Harvey don't let (Ruth) help you out while you in to see your doctor. read more

Overbooked appointments with long wait times to see Gregory Harvey, M.D. He does not take into consideration of others time when having staff schedule patients. Gotten to the office promptly at 1030 to fill out necessary paperwork, scheduled appt was at 1100 it is now 1215 and we have yet to be seen by the physician. read more

I really liked the doctor and his nurse, but their office staff need training on customer service. I understand they are a busy office, however I almost walked out on 2 separate occasions due to the attitude and inappropriate behavior of the secretary. She never looks up at the person in front of her, she barks orders at you loudly and obviously does not like her job or working with people. She shows no respect for the patients and this was obvious with ever person that walked in the door. She speaks loudly about anything you try to discuss with her from financial information, insurance and HIPA related info. When I asked questions as to forms she wanted filed out that had no relevance to why I was there, she was frustrated and became very confrontational instead of simply resolving my questions. As a business, your front office staff makes the biggest impression on your clients. Most clients can understand a busy office and there will be waits for good doctors. What is not acceptable is poor disrespectful employees. In a customer service oriented business you must have staff that are kind and respectful. They should understand when working in a doctors office you are dealing with people who are sick, injured and most likely in pain. The last thing you need is disrespect from the time you walk into the office. I wish I could say it stopped there. I was prescribed medication for my injury and after receiving an injection I started to experience severe pain. I was never given the prescription and assumed they were sending it electronically because they make you sign several forms explaining that is the process. The pharmacy never received the script and I had to call the office 6 times before I got an answer from who else but the same secretary with a chip on her shoulder. She tried to blame it on the pharmacy, but after demanding proof they sent it I was placed on hold. Another staff member came on asking questions regarding what I needed and after explaining she put me on hold. The secretary then came back and rudely claimed that the nurse had given me the script. I disagreed and said I was given nothing more than the receipt for payment of services. She then sighed loudly and stated "well its being faxed and you can call your pharmacy in an hour to see if they received it." I explained I just spoke to another staff member and was holding for her. The secretary then mumbled something I didn't understand and then hung up. Again, appalling service. Seriously, I don't care if the doctors are good at this point, if this injury doesn't clear up, I will just find another doctor before subjecting myself to this behavior any further. read more

This place is terrible. Just from speaking to the receptionist to schedule an appointment you can tell she came to work with a chip on her shoulder. I was having an issue getting an appointment scheduled that could deal with a foot and a knee issue in the same visit. After getting nowhere after half an hour on the phone with one person I was put on hold. Another person answered and was very helpful and scheduled the combined visit with another doctor who was able to handle both the foot and the knee issue at the same time. After the visit was scheduled, I came in at the appointed time, and came to find out that the first person from the phonecall cancelled the combination visit out of spite for me "getting my way" shorty after me getting off the phone with the second, helpful person. When I confronted the staff with the confirmation of the original combined appointment, their excuse for changing it was that the person that scheduled the visit for me was no longer working there. The entire dramatic experience was like being back in middle school or living in a soap opera. My half day off of work became a complete waste and I learned an excellent example of terrible customer service. As a community we really need to vote with our wallets against any service provider that takes our dollars for granted and treats people this way. Just because it's the medical industry doesn't mean we as consumers are cattle to be ran through a process. read more

Went for my wife's feet pain... Dr David Lin is not able to even recognize the problem and gave some generic anti inflammatory... She did not get any relief.... For any prescription questions, the nurse is NEVER available... Do not transfer medical documents to another doctor even after letting them know the details.... This place is a scam.... Worst experience we ever had with a doctor... Do no recommend for sure. read more

Terrible, terrible experience! I was a new patient. Doctor didn't show up in the office until 1 hour after my appointment. They schedule people on top of people. There were 5 or six other patients waiting to see Dr. Justin Chronister on 11-16-2015. Front office staff had a smart mouth and could have cared less that I drove 65 miles to see this doctor. I had to leave so I could make it home before dark. MY time is just as valuable as their time. No excuses made and did not want to refund my co-pay. DO NOT GO THERE! read more
