Everyone was VERY nice and really good at their jobs. My dad had a recent stay in Moravian Village after an accident. This was a pretty good way to do an apples to apples comparison. The staff at Moravian has a really high turnover, they seem understaffed, and unhappy at their jobs. Supervisory staff are very unprofessional. Cedarbrook seems to have almost all people who will spend their career at the facility, have plenty of staff, even on weekends, and everyone seems legitimately happy at their job. The rehab staff, OT and PT, at Moravian were not terrible, but they did not tailor anything to my dad's needs. They seemed to be just going through the motions. Cedarbrook was just the opposite, the staff really wanted to zero in on what would help my dad to get back home and be successful. We both came away very impressed with everything at Cedarbrook. I know this sounds like an ad, but this place really is that much better than others in the area.

It's happened again. I was given a date and time to see my pain specialist for a knee injection. I…read morewas given this appointment 2 weeks before and I was anxious to have have the shot to relieve my extreme pain. When I got there the receptionist told me they never scheduled the appointment.. I had taken the day off from work and had my wife do the driving. Compounding that, I was supposed to have a phone conference the day before which never occurred. This isn't the first time Lehigh Valley Health Network did this. Their merger as to better health care management is a failure! To top it off, they told me the manager would call me to straighten this out. You guessed it, she never called-exactly as she did (didn't) do before. If you have an appointment with anyone from LVHN/Jefferson don't count on it! Be sure to call a day or two ahead to confirm as they are unable to control their schedules! They will always say it wasn't their fault!

I am writing this review based on my experience during the 2016 summer when my aunt was a patient…read morein the snf, 3rd floor, for short term rehab, about 2 weeks. I am also a nurse. The facility's decor is from the 80's but in good repair. As you enter the facility, we were greeted by receptionist Antonette, very friendly. I am still impressed that there was never a nursing home smell, no urine smell to the entire facility. The staff, RN's, LPN'S and nurse's aides to patient ratio was very low, well staffed. The staff worked as a team and had a good attitude. Call bells were consistently answered quickly, usually under 2 minutes, so much faster than in the hospital. The nurses really paid attention to the patients' expressed and unexpressed needs. I was very impressed with their assessment skills and compassion not just for my aunt, but also for the other patients. The patients were kept clean, neat, appropriately clothed and moved, and alarmed against falls. Patients were tolieted and had frequent changes of disposable underwear. Also the nursing staff called the family consistently in real time when changes in medication or doctor's appointments were made, really great communication. The physical therapist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, and social worker worked well with my aunt, they appropriately challenged her and treated her as an individual. To this day, I am still impressed with what my aunt and her family experienced in 2016 at this very good snf.

Dr. Millman is knowledgeable and down to earth. He has worked WITH ME, in that once an exercise is introduced, he builds on the technique rather than assuming that that I got it the first time. I have seen a BIG improvement in my range of motion and in my ability to minimize my own neck discomfort. The office staff is professional and friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate scheduling needs. All in all, Bethlehem Rehabilitation Specialists runs like a well oiled machine. He has see me last minute when I needed it. He is so supportive and knowledgeable. He explains everything he is doing in a way that is easily understandable and takes time to listen. Most importantly, the plan he created works. I am headed in the right direction. Within a week I felt substantially better. Few recovery trajectories are straight up, I have had some "bumps" in the road so to speak, but Erik has just reassessed and adjusted the plan. (Encouragement/reassurance always included). I almost never write reviews like this. I am just that impressed with the care I have been receiving here.

I reached out to Keri in the small chance she would be able to see me, on Saturday no less, and she was able to make time to come to my apartment that night for some manual work, stretching and taping. With her help I was able to finish my half marathon the next morning (almost) pain-free! We had another session post-race and she really took the time to diagnose why I was over-straining this particular tendon in my foot and equipped me with the stretches and exercises I can do on my own to prevent injury from happening again. It's been about a month of running post-injury pain free and that's all thanks to Keri, so if you're contemplating booking her...just do it, you won't regret it!

I found Suparna after 27 years with a repetitive strain injury. My journey began during my last…read moreyear of art school. My major was ceramics and I was also working 25 hours a week at a job doing data entry with poor ergonomics. Over the years, I tried many different techniques, practitioners, physical therapy exercises. No one was able to properly diagnose me and I only gained temporary pain and function relief. I had given up on finding anyone that could offer me a cure. I had modified my computer and my tools in every area of my life, but still experienced flareups. In the year before I found Suparna, I experienced two severe flareups that really scared me. I dug into the Internet and found her name mentioned in a Facebook group and on Reddit. Over the 27 years, in trying to protect myself from further injury I had lost a lot of strength in my upper body. In addition, my shoulders were crooked: about 2 inches lower on the right side with my right scapula rotated forward and down. I had to work very, very slowly to build my strength, so as not to flare up symptoms. Suparna was great, she was very patient and every time I flared up she was able to give me an exercise or stretch that helped me get past each hiccup. Why had no one prescribed nerve glides to me before? The nerve guides have really helped a lot. I have finally returned to making art on a regular basis.
