I explained that I have tried medication and PT already and nothing has worked. So what the response....medication and PT drills. Humored them and did them and returned for the next check up months later. Had a 10:10 appt. and was brought into the tiny room then and proceeded to wait for 40 minutes. Nobody came to check, nobody to inform me they were running late...nothing. Got up and walked out. This place doesn't give a crap about patients, just billing insurances. After meds and bed they prescribed provided little relief, acupuncture was recommended by a family friend. Village Community Acupuncture & Massage Therapy was able to provide immediate relief. Matthew listened, explained the process and discussed the theory. The first treatment provided enough relief to drop the meds. By the third visit I had him working on my neck & shoulder, other areas with minor muscle tightness and he has been very successful. I most appreciate the time they take. Each session we discuss the results of the last treatment. After an initial needling in the effected area they provide distal treatment (arms and legs). They take time, have a pretty good sense of humor and actually want to get it right. The price is more than fair for the extent of the service they provide. I understand each experience is different with acupuncture but I couldn't be more pleased with Village Community Acupuncture & Massage Therapy. I also heard Matthew is a co-presenter for a seminar on treatment for sport related injury. I like it.

You have to park down and around the building from where you get off the road which was a little confusing for my first time going since they moved. Every person you speak to is kind and welcoming which is a great way to start a doctor's visit anywhere. The nurse that saw me was a student she said, and was very patient with listening to my concerns. This is my usual doctor and he sees me for my yearly physicals and my diabetes checkups.
