I would rate zero star if I can: I sent them a video, They gave me a quote $625 and we scheduled next day morning to pick up the junk, next day morning they called me telling me that there was a lot of concrete and long cardboard, I immediately notice in their tone they misquoted me and trying to raise the price, but they didn't and just say their truck is in used today and won't be available and will call me back. Then later in the afternoon, I chased couple times to confirm a date, they said all their trucks are full for a while, I immediately notice that it's because they misquoted and don't want to do the project, and of course at the end they blocked me, what a waste of my time. Use them at your own risk. Don't blame people for a bad review, you asked for it. read more

I had to call to find out what was happening. Apparently someone else cancelled for today and they removed me from the schedule instead. I selected Ortiz Junk Removal to discard a couch. Once they gave me a quote, I scheduled a time of 10am-12pm. I received a confirmation in the morning that they were arriving at 12:00pm and I would receive a text message 10 minutes prior to their arrival. 20 minutes prior I decided to text and inquire their ETA. I received a message at noon that they were running late because of traffic and then that the freeway was closed and all traffic was stopped. I explained that I needed to leave by 12:30. Their response was that they would come the next day at the same time. I canceled their service at 12:30 pm and went with someone else who arrived within 10 minutes and took care of the couch disposal. I don't know what happened, if they overbooked or underestimate their day but if they would have communicated with me, it would have been very helpful. When you anticipate having someone come for a service, you never know if they can come sooner, so your entire morning is planned around them. read more
