It was uniformly outstanding, not a single roll had thin spots, etc, If my new lawn doesn't take hold and grow it will my fault,either in soil preparation or installation error. Don't hire this firm to do your roofing. A few months ago, I had Mr. Fields inspect my roof for a…read moreprospective lender who I was going to use for a re-fi. Fields inspected the roof and charged me $150. He had also replaced some loose and worn shingles a couple of years ago. After he inspected, I sent his signed inspection document to my lender. I received a call from my lender a few days later stating that Mr. Field's license had been suspended, for various reasons, and they would not allow the results of the inspection for that reason I called Mr. Fields, but each time I called I was sent to voice mail. This went on for over a week and finally I just sent him a letter stating that I wanted a refund on my money. In the meantime, I hired a licensed roofer to do the inspection. After a few weeks I received a check from Fields for the full refund. I would strongly advise that anyone entering into a roofing agreement with Fields Roofing to check the credentials of Mr. Fields first. Go to the Calif. State Licensing Board and check to make sure that he has a current active license. This goes for any roofing contractor as well.

Cristian and the NEXTPROGEN Builders team built our dream deck with a full Monterey Bay view. The…read moredeck is approximately 18' x 32' and nearly 16 feet high, so this was not a small or simple project. The finished deck is beautiful, substantial, and incredibly solid. I have joked that if there were ever an earthquake, the deck is where I would want to be. After completing the deck, we trusted NEXTPROGEN Builders with several additional projects at our Monterey home, including a retaining wall, rebuilding the side stairs and porch area, and a complete low-slope roof replacement. The roofing project was much more than simply installing a new roof. Cristian and his team removed the old roofing system and added two staggered layers of rigid insulation, totaling approximately four inches, along with a protective roof cover board before installing the new white modified-bitumen roofing system. The additional roof insulation was important to us because it helps improve the comfort and energy efficiency of the home. They also installed new gutters and downspouts to help properly control and direct rainwater away from the house. The project included replacing damaged fascia where needed, installing new roof flashings, completing the chimney flashing and saddle, and replacing the roofing on the detached carport. Cristian paid attention to the important details instead of simply covering over existing problems. Cristian is very accommodating, creative, and full of modern ideas. He was regularly onsite and always available whenever we had a question, concern, or new idea during construction. His professionalism, energy, and positive "can-do" attitude are reflected in his entire team and the quality of their work. We also appreciated how clean and organized the property was kept throughout each project. At the end of the work, everything was cleaned up and left in excellent condition. We look forward to continuing our long-term home improvement relationship with Cristian and NEXTPROGEN Builders.
