So in general really good. The restaurant is pleasant enough. Nice patio and a clean but unwarm place inside. We ate ouside. Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu but based on that we were one out of three couples there, service was slow. It was super hot outside and it took awhile to get the water glasses filled. Menu was diverse with enough to make most people happy with what they are able to order. We decided on the lamb flatbread. I went with the Salmon while my husband chose the burger . I don't get the idea of sides being extra though. So the burger was 14.50 to order and I think it would have been another 3 bucks for fries. So if my husband saw on the menu , $18.50 with fries he would have chose that. However he saw $14.50 for the burger and then the fries would be extra, he chose not the side. I have no idea why restaurants choose this. Especially for handheld items that typically come with a side. We are not at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The flat bread was disappointing. The flavours were okay but not stand outstandish, but for 17 bucks we both expected a whole flatbread and not a half of one. My husband liked his burger. I thought my salmon was really good. No complaints on the food. Service and menu pricing could have been better. We also had a few cocktails, which were good. I liked this. But I wouldn't run here. read more

Always delicious, one of my very favourite places to go out for lunch or dinner or even brunch! The staff, the service the food all wonderful! I love that they use fresh locally grown products. They change the menu seasonally so there's always something new to try, although it makes it hard to choose what to order when everything is so good! The artwork on the walls is lovely and for sale so they are supporting local artists as well! They also sell their own jarred preserves and they are so delicious. Their prices are similar to most other sit down restaurants so considering everything is fresh and locally produced and not wrapped in plastic, frozen, mass produced and microwaved that is quite impressive as well! I always recommended Twisted Fork to anyone new to town, but it's actually worth the trip to St. Paul as well! read more

We LOVE Twisted Fork! Amazing service, Food is fantastic quality and excellent plating. Nice to know they support local producers! Our last visit we ordered the spicy pickle fries- best we've ever had. Bf had the drunken Hobo burger, it was delicious And I had the crispy beet salad which was super! Finished it off with honey jack Daniels ice cream & cookie! YUM!! Can't help but order the sangria every time!! We think the prices reflect the quality of the dishes for sure! read more

I took my wife for lunch and we decided to try this place in St. Paul. The place is brand new, so it's very clean. It's long and narrow, so to me, it felt crowded. We were seated at the long wall bench and think the tables could have been spaced better. The fact that I could hear the other two tables conversations over our own kind of ruined our lunch date. The service was alright. Nice polite friendly staff. Our waitress could have toned it down a bit though. Telling us not to try certain dressings with our salad because they tasted horrible. This isn't something you should be discussing with customers. We both ordered the hamburger after hearing rave reviews from friends and work colleagues. My wife had the burger with salad and house made ranch dressing (because the other ones tasted terrible apparently) I had my burger with fries. The burgers arrived and looked quite delicious, a lovely home made patty with all the fixings and a garlic aioli. I couldn't wait to sink into it. After my first bite though, all I could taste was garlic and Italian seasoning. The overwhelming taste forced me to investigate this burger in great depths. It literally tasted like a meatball you'd expect on your spaghetti. Upon my investigation, I could actually see the chunks of minced garlic and Italian spices and there was tons of it. This patty alone ruined my meal as i couldn't eat it. The plus for this burger was the house made tomato relish. Was excellent. The fries were nothing special. Frozen deep fried fries tossed in salt and pepper. I've never been a fan of pepper on my fries but it didn't bother me much. My wife's salad was a typical garden salad. And the ranch sauce was quite nice. Now I can forgive a mess up in the kitchen every now and then. It's a new restaurant and mistakes will be made. Perhaps the chef goofed up on my burger, whatever. The one thing I can't forgive is the astronomical price tag attached to this plate. $18 bucks for a burger is very steep and I won't have it again. I would return to this establishment again but I think I'd prefer the evening menu more than the lunch menu. I wouldn't recommend this place just yet, simply because I'm indifferent with my review. If you do plan to go, be prepared to pay, as the menu is not cheap. read more

Twisted Fork is an excellent place to eat. The menu is varied but not overwhelming. Prices are higher than many local restaurants but the quality of the food is excellent. This was my first visit but it will not be last. Today I had a soup and a burger. Both were wonderful. The prawn appetizer was great. The restaurant is very new, very clean and comfortable. Service is fast and efficient but not rushed. Though 50 km away, I would drive to Twisted Fork even if I had no shopping to do. It is that good. read more

Went here last night for a friend's birthday. This was my first time in the restaurant but I have had take out from there before which was good. Last night I ordered the coco salmon (I think that's what it was called) the server seemed friendly enough and highly recommended it and said you would think the pineapple would be weird on it but it tastes really good. While my party of 10 was getting their meals she realized I was the only one who didn't have my meal yet. I'm assuming she forgot to ring it in because she said they were having 'issues' and asked if it was ok if I had rice instead of potatoes. I thought about it for a bit and finally said 'I guess so' mostly because I was really hungry by then so she said it would be out in 7 minutes and she would see what she can do for me. My meal finally came out and the rice was not very good at all. I had about 2 bites and just ate the salmon instead. I don't think there was any pineapple with the meal at all like she stated I'm sure the menu said it was an orange salsa. When we finally got our bill I was charged the regular $21 for my salmon meal. We waited a very long time to get our bill so I just paid her and left. I don't think I will be going back any time soon. read more
