The place was cozy similar to many places in Japan, food was ok. Restaurant is located inside SM Seaside in the Mountain Wing.
The soup takoyaki tasted like hush puppies and was equally crunchy. The soup to dip them in was on the salty side, not sure if thats how its suppose to be. My brother ordered some type of Osaka Burger, the poached egg was cooked well and tasted delightful. The curry was good, flavorful, but not spicy. If you are expecting green tea, they do not serve green tea. I found that kind of odd as normally Japanese themed restaurants normally have this as a staple and is regularly available. *shrugs* I did sample their takoyaki once before and they were delicious.
Staff: When we first entered it seemed as if all staff were in a meeting or training of some sort, this continued on during our meal but they vacated the remaining tables of the restaurant and continued behind us. You can hear the trainor say, "the customer.. and when the customer.. You.." We didn't linger after the meal but had we did this can easily turn annoying. Waitress who waited on us was polite. Food was of good temperature.
We paid about 600 pesos, I wanna say, for the 3 items. Good place to snack, but needs more variety in their menu. read more
