I saw Dr. Alhabian for a new patient visit. When I arrived she had no knowledge of my medical…read morehistory. She then proceeded to try to roll back every advance any doctor had made to my health over the last decade, and she was not open to discussion on any topic. Rather, Dr. Alhabian tried to lay down the law with me. She then proceeded to order numerous tests that were already part of my medical history (if she ever would read it) or that were wholly unnecessary. I was so shocked and offended by my treatment that I made an appointment with my previous primary care physician before even leaving the parking lot.

I was out of the country when I got sick. Took me 2 weeks to get an appointment with the Doc I had…read morebeen seeing for years. When I arrived for the appointment I was told the appointment had been cancelled. They did offer an appointment later that day but I wasn't able to make that. The only other available time was a week later. There is a prompt care next door but if I am sick I like to see my own doctor. They have become too busy and too big. You can't get past the front desk to see your own doctor.

My daughter was scheduled for an appointment today in order to get her physical for kindergarten. When I scheduled the appointment I was told by Cindy that I would have to bring the kids to two separate days due to availability. When I get to the front desk Bonnie was the one who opened her window to help me I asked her if there were any cancellations so that both of my kids could be seen the same day vs different days and she tells me "they can't be seen together due to cancellations" I say to her "Um no they can't be seen together because there weren't two available times for them to be seen" the woman processed to argue with me stating she was there when I had spoke to Cindy and she told me the same thing. Cindy NEVER ONCE told me my children could not be seen on the same date due to appointment cancellations and I'm sorry but how STUPID does that sound?! If that was even true why would you separate both appointments because of that?! If in there in the building asking can both of my kids be seen today wouldn't it make since to go ahead and allowing it vs having a 2nd appointment at a later date that I could CANCEL?! I am not happy with the customer service coming from this women. She has a bad attitude her appearance is hostile and Bonnie alone is enough for you not not want to visit this doctors office at all!! I canceled my daughters appointment all together and told them to remove my kids as patients we will not be coming back! And I will find out who I need to speak to in Ofer to complain about the rude and disrespectful BONNIE working at the front counter.

Fast forward months later & the only tests that have been done i've had to ask for, then when completed they ignore things like high ALT levels & EKG results saying probably left atrial enlargement, saying theyre "not concerned" I highly recommend going elsewhere if you want someone to be concerned with your health or test results that come back whacky. They will blatantly ignore your levels being high & act petty when you advocate for yourself. I do not recommend Dr Palcheff or anyone in this office. I was told he was new & he mentioned his studies being not too long ago but the way i was treated & lack of professionalism/communication on an ongoing health concern is shocking & he should not be taking patients in if he cannot help diagnose an illness or ignores test results. When you ask for test results to be explained, they give you the medical terminology, uncomprehend able to the public that didn't go to medical school instead of explaining things to you.

This seems unfair for patients. What happened to patient's coming first? If your uncomfortable with a provider, one would think you could change providers. Not happy with Carle Pekin East. Patient's care is lacking.
