They were ready for my scheduled appointment and were very well skilled with my Deluxe pedicure/manicure. I appreciated how clean the place was and noticed they disinfect everything, including the whole pedicure massage chairs after each customer. The spa is much less crowded than prior to the Covid shutdowns, and that's great if your looking for a quiet personal experience. There were only three people in the shop, and the service was excellent as expected. This is my second time back since the pandemic. Very clean, there's an air purifier and dust control at every station. Everyone is kind and I get what I want every time.

the gentleman doing my nails had long square cut fingernails. the corners kept stabbing the pads of my fingers and it hurt. also he was using the rotary file to take a much of the dip polish off as he could and my nail beds kept getting hot. when I told him this, he ignored me. then he wrapped my nails in acetone and foil. my daughter had this done and it caused chemical burns at this same salon. the man seemed agitated when the dip polish did not come off right away and wanted to let it soak "for a while". by this point,I was done. the manager stated the rotary had never caused a complaint before. all the employees are young men in their 20s. I have been getting my nails done since before they were born. I tried this place again because it was under new ownership but I will never go back. I left and went to city nails in gun barrel city. read more

The atmosphere and decor may not be very fancy, but the service is professional and friendly. The emphasis on sanitation is paramount. I'll be back again and again. read more

A mixed experience here. I called to make an appointment for pedicures for my MIL and me on Saturday. I asked what the earliest possible time for 2 pedicures would be. I was told 930. Normally - I wouldn't even make pedi appointments but we were in town for only a day and a half to celebrate Easter with family; time was a factor. Well, we were there by 930 and all the pedicure chairs were occupied. It was 10:00 when they put us in chairs. 10:10 someone started working on my MIL's toes. At 10:30 someone came to my chair and started my pedicure. Both people who did our pedicures were great! Very pleased with the outcome... but not pleased that it took an hour to even be seen...and the pedicure + drying time was less than 40 minutes. So that's an hour we could've spent elsewhere other than waiting. Again, pedicure great quality and people were nice. What's the point of having appointments if you're going to be waiting an hour though? (Total first world problem, but I would've liked to know to expect this before I'd made our appointments) read more

The last time I came here was for a lip & brow wax, & then a haircut & color job. They seem to be very busy with the mani/pedi customers most of the time, but I have still yet to do that here. One of the ladies worked me in for the lip & brow waxing, & I got that treatment in a nice private room. She uses a good topical anesthetic, so that it isn't very painful. After that, I went to Rainey for a haircut & color. I had a great time chatting with her while she "operated" on my hair. She had googled the type of style that I picked, & let me know if that would work for me before she did any cutting or coloring--good that she made sure of what I wanted ahead of time. I really like this shop. It's the best nail salon in Athens. They have an excellent color selection as well as lots of options for services. The employees have great personalities and are really nice, which isn't always easy to find. I had a great experience here and would recommend to anyone. read more

We were asked to leave after sitting for 20 minutes w our feet soaking. My nails were soaking and my friends were just in warm water....then we were asked to leave Bc they forgot they had an appointment scheduled. Literally walked out w toes looking worse than when we came in!!! Never ever again. read more

VERY upset about this place. I've been two times before, one being a great experience and the other not so good. I decided to give them another chance and I regret it. I got dipping with a tip which is what I always get and almost every single nail is crooked and a different length! I could go back and have them redo it but I don't want to have to sit in the chair that long again as well as I'm afraid they still won't get it right. What made it even worse was when I went to go pay the lady at the register did not say anything to me and I was watching her put in the total first being $40 then clearing it out and put $45. I said $45? And she paused and just agreed. Definitely NOT worth the $45 if that's even how much it was supposed to be?? read more

Wow!! What an amazing day of pampering! In from California visiting my friend who lives in Cedar Creek & we were looking at getting a manicure & pedicure. We both got the deluxe pedicure, hot towels & hot stones massage etc well worth the $45 price. I got powder manicure & my friend got a full set Joshua & Hanna were awesome!! I don't recall the names of the people who did our pedicures but they were also amazing!! I will be back next time I'm in town & I believe my friend has found her a nail salon!! Excellent service. Very polite, and courteous. I love that they communicate well and it is a rule that the technicians are to speak English, unlike other salons where they carry on entire conversations among themselves as if customers are not even present. I LOVE THAT about this salon. Joshua and Hannah run the salon with professionalism and the clients comfort and satisfaction in mind on every level. Great customer service!! I'm from out of town and went here based on other Yelp reviews. They were awesome! They were friendly and did a very nice job on my nails, pedicure, and wax! They did the new dipping process on my nails! It was easy and looks and feels very nice! They have just about any color you can imagine! The regular pedicure was very nice with a nice massage. Finally! A Nail Salon with EVERYTHING: Friendly, happy staff and management and customers were great fun as well. Lovely, Clean Salon with nice music that wasn't overly loud, comfortable chairs and highly professional technicians. I got a pedicure and always dread it due to my chronically ingrown toenails..but Ruby was gentle and cleaned my toenails perfectly without one second of pain or discomfort. The products she used were very high quality and her massage techniques wonderful. I shall not dread going back to Osmosis because of Ruby, and the lovely staff, the great customers - I shall look forward to it! read more

Just moved here and got my hair cut with Rainey. What a great gal and she did a beautiful job on this old lady's hair! Had great tips for me and put together a plan to grow it out and do a nice bob cut in about 10 weeks. Such a sweetheart and loves her hometown.
