The owner reached out to me personally which was appreciated and even told me about some of the complaints against this particular therapist. Yet, a considerable time was spent defending the business than remedying the situation. They wanted me to come back for 50% off & redo my massage - here's the kicker: with the same therapist if I wanted (Ha!). I communicated that I don't live in Texas and I'm only passing through so how & why would I give you more of my money & time??? Although I never asked for money back, the whole thing felt disingenuous and a complete waste of time. I would skip this one entirely as you're at a loss if you have a bad experience & you'll be forced to defend your feedback if the owner reaches out to you. Long story short is I have an L1 spinal fracture and was wanting a massage on my legs only due to cramping, weakness and tightness in my legs. I was informed by Claire the LMT that without a doctors note she couldn't do the massage. I was frustrated at first until she explained to me all the reasons why. The most important is that apparently a simple leg massage can possible do further damage to the spine. I didn't know that but Claire did and she educated me on why and didn't just tell me no. The other reason these ladies deserve such a great review is because Claire could have simply disregarded everything I said and did the massage anyway but she didn't. I will be getting my note from my doctor like instructed by Claire and I will be calling her back if it's safe for my massage.
