They asked questions about my hair, how I usually style it, if I use any products, and gave suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. That made me feel comfortable and confident. But this time, I got an older barber whose name I couldn't even find on the shop website. The whole haircut felt rushed and uncomfortable. He barely talked to me and mostly just spoke Spanish with another barber the entire time. He only asked me what I wanted, and when I asked if he had any recommendations or suggestions for my hair type, he didn't really help at all. He even asked me to show him a picture, so I had to pull out my phone and search TikTok inside the shop just to show him the side style I wanted. I only said I wanted the sides shorter, but instead of giving advice or explaining what would fit me best, he just grabbed a section of my hair and said "2 inches," then started cutting. I trusted this shop because of the high ratings and because my previous experiences were good, so I honestly thought every barber here would give professional consultation and recommendations. Unfortunately, this haircut ended up not matching my preference, my hair texture, or even my face shape. Parts of my hair were left uneven -- half long and half short -- and overall I left really disappointed.

Honestly was filled with anxiety coming in, and wasn't really to sure as I recently moved into the area, and hadn't let anyone touch the mane I had on my head. Over all, the experience was very well. The environment was welcoming, and I walked out feeling at ease and with a good cut. Things obviously weren't addressed like the reply from the owner. I booked an appointment with Bryan, my son saw IG stories were he cut Lamine, so he was super excited to get a back to school cut by him. Fast forward to the day of our appointment saturday 8/8/26 around 4:30pm he text me and says he can't cutt his hair anymore due to having things come up. I was very understanding and explained this was a back to school cut and he starts on Monday. Just need it done by then. Bryan states he can get us the next day Sunday 8/9/26 around noon. I text him 2-3x to confirm the times because around "noon" could mean 11am, 12pm, 1pm, etc. He never responds until i explain to him im going going to come in at 12. Right away he text back "he's going out with family, and can't make it anymore" also states he doesn't work on Sunday, why tell us you can get us then? Wow, talk about unprofessional to its finest. I wonder if I was a professional athlete, would things have been different?
