I'm a fan of the Chardonnay grappa which I did not know of before this visit. Dinner was served for about 200 people in the main hall of the castle. Gnocchi, Ravioli, An Osso Buco type of beef with grilled crusted parmesean, parsnips and asparagus. Despite serving such a large crowd, the food was hot, savory and tasty. After dinner a fruit and fresh cream cake, grappa and expresso topped off the evening. All executed with Italian pride and class. Outstanding experience in a fabulous midevil venue.
