10 for $10 items are awesome, we stocked up on a whack of things as we got out annual check from them too. Only shop here when the sale is on as a lot of the items are expensive from the groceries to the hardware. If you have a farm they have feed, tools, and even fencing materials to keep the farm up ad running. Only stumbled upon this as I was coming inside for the Tim Horton's, the Boston Cream donut ain't too shabby---but i digress. My advice is for you to go somewhere else unless you want to be ignored by every employee you encounter!! August 27 was my visit date and what happened. I went in to buy a bird feeder in the feed store first and walked around the whole store for about 15 minutes ignored by employees. I finally walked up to the counter at the back of the store where an employee was sitting doing something. I started to talk to her and brag excitedly that I was raising baby chicks and wanted some help getting everything I needed and she never asked me anything to determine my needs!! I was all excited and would've spent a lot of money on everything that I needed instead I bought a small item and left to go to their grocery store to check it out because I've never been to this location before. I walked in and then up to the sushi bar three different times and the employee there an Asian shorthaired female ignored me ... I bought sushi for $15 and the employee didn't thank me didn't greet me nor did another employee that was at the cash there in that section say anything to me. I went back to hardware ..because when I first went there no one offered help....to find help to get a bird feeder and saw three employees talking amongst themselves and they just ignored me omg again..I interrupted one of the associates to come to give me help and the whole time she was listening to what I needed in the aisle she was chewing on her fingers which looked disgusting and not professional..she did not thank me or say anything or ask me if I needed any additional items for my new chicks that I was trying to brag about. At the cashier young lady there was wearing a name tag but I couldn't see her name and she was young. She didn't smile and just asked me for my co-op number nothing else and that's not a greeting! I heard they have memberships there but no staff I managed to get to talk to me ever told me about memberships not even the cashier at the sushi section or the main grocery section. The cashier didn't thank me didn't offer me any parting remark's either. Why do they even have staff there?? And just to mention the bathroom was disgusting as well ... looked like a crack house bathroom. read more

Go for the otter size breakfast! Great food at the cafeteria. Very nice staff, always quick if you need almost anything you can think of. Some prices are way high... And some selection is lacking... But no doubt they will have what you need. read more

Having a regular requirement for llama food and duck nuggets means we legitimately use the Farmer's Co-op for its original intent. This place has it all, pet food, cow teat treatments, horse antibiotics the whole selection of horse tack, and any other animal stuff you need. The grocery store is like any large Safeway, but the employees are nicer and not oozing with entitlement. The clothing area of this store is not your Superstore Joe brand. They carry RIDICULOUSLY priced clothing. Here is the theory, the people who can afford horses shop at co-op, so they think clothing and accessories are supposed to cost that kind of money. It is genius really. Scenario: Horse lady shows up wearing her jodhpurs to get a new bit for her horse, and some prosciutto for appies, and then drops $85 on a pair of jeans for her two year old. What a racket, I have to admire the diabolical genius behind it. The Co-op gas bar across the street is members only, full service and ALWAYS has the best gas price... after all when you are lugging a horse trailer with your big ass SUV, you don't want to pay over a buck a litre do you? read more

So here's an update. I was out here today after my foray to the nursery (still working on my balcony garden) to get a quick bite to eat, as they have a little eatery inside. Well needless to say I am NOT eating here again. The cost of my salad was almost $8 and that was with it being 95% lettuce and some veg added on top.
