I did this and then he told me he would take the job but couldn't give me the estimate. So basically he lied and wanted the video to see if the job was even worth his time. I have the text to prove he lied to me. These type of contractors give everyone a bad name. Too lazy to come out to my house to give an estimate but wanted me to video my whole house after I worked all day. I won't be using this app to find contractors anymore. Terrible company and rude!

When he got ready to leave he told me that someone from his business would be contacting me in a couple of weeks to come out and take some measurements and that if I had not heard from them within 3 weeks to give him a call, you have my cell phone number. Well, when I did not hear from anyone from him or his business within 3 weeks I called his office and was told he was in a meeting, so I left a message asking him to call me. The lady who answered the phone said it could be the next morning before he returned my call. I waited several days and he never called me. So, I called his cell phone and left a voicemail. I waited a few days and when he did not return my call I called his cell phone again, this time he answered. He told me he was in a meeting and would call me back in 30 minutes. That was over a week ago. In my view he is very unprofessional.

I received quotes from folks with different ideas ranging from around $5k for replacement to over $35k to excavate under the house and replace the old one. Richard was on the lower end of that range and I could tell he'd been in business for a long time and knew what he was talking about, so that's who I went with. I couldn't be happier given the circumstances. They rigged it up where it would work the next day until they could complete the project. They did a fantastic job.
