Each time I have been the staff have been very friendly and kind. They answer all the questions I have about the process they will be doing on my teeth. The location is in a great spot and the building is very clean and kept proper. The only complaint I would have is that I had to sit for quite awhile in the waiting room before my apointment. Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. This is absolutely my neq dental office from now on and my husband and I will also be taking out children there because it is just that great!! So happy I found them!

It's actually been much longer because our kids (twins) were about 2 when they first went. One of them still goes & she's now 44 years old. Her husband & 2 children are also regular patients. So 3 generations of a family going to Avalon Dental (they started out with a different name) is quite a testimonial to their excellent dental care. The staff has a low turnover because the workplace is friendly yet very professional. They're very good at working with patients to make your visit as painless as possible, both dental-wise & money-wise. I actually enjoy going to the dentist & not many people can say that. I've had to go in with little notice the same day (crowns too high) which Dr Sacher had no problem adjusting & my new partial a couple of months ago (just a bit of sanding down required), but for the decades I've been going, I can list the number of times on one hand when I've had to go back after dental work done to get these minor adjustments. I'm one of those people who has problems getting freezing to work (my daughter too), but Dr Sacher is very gentle & expert. He makes my visits as painless & pleasant as possible. If you'd like to know more, they have a new brochure that highlights their services, info on the dentists (1 male, 1 female) & I'm sure if you'd like them to mail you one, they'd be happy to. I have their phone # on my speed dial (780-465-0994), but I have it memorized also. Reviews are not something I do, but I felt compelled to say something after all this time. Even after saying my concern at the end, they still didn't do anything about it. Glad my insurance still paid for it but definitely not coming back and getting more surprises with my bill. I just wasted my one checkup with X-ray on that emergency checkup when I wanted all my teeth to get checked. Please make sure the patient knows what he or she is going in for and make things clear because it just wastes what the insurance covers.
