I got the Blackberry Cocoa mead at the tasting room and just fell head over heels in love with it. It had exactly as it described in the title of the mead. A very delightful blend of blackberry and cocoa that played off of each other so very well and amounted to a very unique and fun mead to drink. The person that did the pour for me was excited about it too and they really were fond of this particular mead as well. I was so impressed by it I purchased a bottle of it and took it home. Steve was totally enthralled by this mead as well when we had it at home. For me it was just a sheer delight to have it a second time. It's also really great that this tasting room is located in Pybus Public Market as it's a cool little market place with all kinds of different shops to tempt you with.

I opted to try the $6 cheese plate with crackers. I wasn't sure which cheese I wanted to try since there were so many options! The lady helping me was very patient and gladly offered me several samples based on my cheese preferences. The cheese I ended up choosing was Délice (de Bourgogne). It is a soft-ripened triple-cream cow's milk cheese. It was super rich, soft, and creamy. I totally recommend this cheese if you're a fan of Brie. Also, I sampled and bought a landjager sausage. It is a semi-dried sausage that would be a great snack. To me, it sort of tastes like a salami snack stick.
