I made the manager, Melissa, aware that I would be putting it in storage, but didn't have a way to transport it to my locker. She offered the option of delivering it for me for $25 on Friday. I told her I would think about it and would try to come get it myself on Friday. She waived the daily fee for non pick up since I was coming in two days. I called her the next day, Thursday, to let her know I would need the delivery service after all. She told me she was unable to offer the delivery service now because there would only be one person working delivery on Friday. I tried to ask her if my friend and I could help the deliverer as we really just needed the transportation. She refused and said if I didn't come pick it up tomorrow I would incur the daily fee. I'm really angry that it turned out this way. It's like the rug was yanked out from under me. A big part of my ability to purchase the couch was the fall-back of the delivery option. I have spent several hours of my day scrambling to rent a truck for a reasonable price. I am not pleased and would not recommend expecting this SA to follow through on their word. It wasn't right to offer delivery on Friday if it didn't work. If it is policy that a person cannot work alone, then the manager should have accommodated me, the paying customer, and delivered Monday without charging the daily fee. There were other options, but the manager hung me out to dry. I don't appreciate that.

I've seen this place a number of times, but have never stopped. I've always thought it was a shop…read morewhere people donate building supplies, but man, was I ever wrong. This is a very nice thrift shop, and I had a blast looking at all that they had. They had a little bit of everything. All kinds of furniture, artwork, and household items. They even had a few pieces of jewelry, and I got two necklaces. The prices were dirt cheap too! I am usually in the area once a year doing my "thrift work" while my husband golfs. My friends and I will be checking it out again next year. I'm so glad we stopped.
