My Wife arrived early to pick him up and witnessed the groomer striking him repeatedly on the muzzle with a tool. She stopped when my Wife entered. A conversation with the owner did not go well. Where before he loved going to the groomer, now he is terrified.

She entered the establishment immediately and the girl knew she had been witnessed. Upon complaining to the owner of the establishment my Mother was not provided any explanation nor any satisfaction. Our dogs have since gone back to our groomer in lower Michigan, and our regular groomer reports that our youngest male is terrified. Where he used to offer his paws to her for grooming and stand quietly for grooming he now trembles, even vomited and pulls his paws back from her. In my 37years of raising standard poodles, I have never encountered anything like this. I hope this review helps people in the area looking for a groomer. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what we have gone through as a family.
