I know a very special, very clever, very beautiful little lady (no, not me you charmers) who adores her school and proudly declares the name of it whenever she can! The school is an all boys Roman Catholic secondary school and has a great reputation in Bradford. There are boys from ages 11 to 18 here and around 1200 students attend the school. It's in a small village not far from Bradford city centre. The standard of education here has always been very high and remains so to this day. There's talk of the school merging with the girls catholic school located just down the road, hence the new buildings popping up around the school. The teachers on the whole were pretty good there. It's a real top place to go to school!

Forget what Ofsted have written about this school, the principles are far higher than those I've…read moreever witnessed at any other school. The Head teacher organises regular get togethers for the children and parents to raise money for the school, they are always fun and our children really enjoy going and meeting up with their friends after school. It's always a great night for us parents too, with beer, wine (ahh), soft drinks and hot dogs whilst we play Bingo, or do raffles. The school is really on the up, the attitude towards the children has improved so much over the last couple of years and they've actually started to do fun things, it's like the school is based around the children now! Like I said, Ofsted and Warrington can write what they like, my children LOVE going into school now and I couldn't be more happy. I really hope more parents will write in their comments about this school, I know there are a lot of very content parents out on the playground and hopefully next time around there will be content Ofsted staff too!

Shockingly bad school…read more Very poor gradings educationally. In risk of being shut down if things don't pick up there. Disgusting green huge fences built for NO reason as the land is not planned to be used for any ball court purposes in the near or far future. Disgusting waste of church funds and the parents of the school kids that helped to pay towards the schools funding. Teachers all jumping off this sinking ship as soon as they are able, parents taking their children out quickly too. The head teacher is not well liked by staff or parents.

My brother rents a house on a road next to this school and moved his child to Alderman Bolton…read moreschool a while back after getting increasingly frustrated at the way St Augustine's. He agrees that the smaller perimeter fences were needed to stop children and vandals but the huge side fences are pretty awful and certainly of no use or advantage as the area is only a school car park now. My brother for one doesn't appreciate seeing them when he leaves his house. Its a shame that a bad reputation follows places like schools for a long time after they improve. if the school is now improving that is a very good and overdue thing to happen. All head good teachers invest time into their schools.. its their job and they get paid to do so.

Fabulous school with great facilities!…read more There's a nursery, infant school and junior school with fantastic staff. from sports days, to choir, to painting- there is a huge range of creative aspects to the curriculum! As well as regular trips to the local swimming baths and other day trips such as the central library and Llandudno! I would wholeheartedly send my children there- if I had any! Have loved working here and will miss it when I'm gone- friendly and welcoming place to work!
