It is rather small, but cozy. The Speed Queen machines seem to be solid. The smaller ones (without a name) stink inside, so we didn't use them. "Ultra wash" on a quad-load washer setting was rather pricey (8.75 CAD for 32 minutes), but the clothes seemed to be reasonably clean and without odor. I liked that there is an option to pay with a credit card, but the change machine is also there. The detergent vending machine is also functional, which was convenient since we forgot our supplies. The washroom door said "out of service", but it's OK since there are many affordable restaurants nearby. Speaking of restaurants, we grabbed great chicken wraps and milk shakes from a nearby place and they were very yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd give this laundromat five stars if the floor was cleaner.

First, the cleanliness. Many laundromats have filthy floors. But not this one. When we visited, it was very clean. Almost exemplary. And the washroom was also very clean and obviously well maintained, which is rare in itself. The washing machines didn't have any weird smells, black fungus or stuck old detergent from previous users. Second, the equipment. It was good. Well maintained Electrolux washers and dryers. The smallest washer (20 lb) did a good job with a regular wash and warm water. The price - 5 CAD for 28 minutes. The dryer dried our small load in just 16 minutes (1 CAD). The biggest washer takes 77 pounds, which is quite impressive. Third, the vending machines. They were well stocked. You could even buy big bottles of detergent if you wanted to. Plenty of snacks and drinks as well. Fifth, the atmosphere. There was a lot of seating near big windows. Two TVs were playing racing and wildlife. Quite cozy. The area also has interesting food choices nearby (some of them are very questionable though, be careful). What could be better: - coins don't always go through, we had to retry a couple times (never had this issue before) - main wash requires powder detergent (we didn't have it, so had to buy one for 2 CAD for a single load using the vending machine) Overall, though, my kid declared it to be his favorite laundromat. It's rare to see someone take so much pride in their work and care so much about the customers. The entire place was spotless including the bathroom and well-maintained, which made doing laundry there so much more comfortable. Donna's positive attitude and willingness to help really stood out and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. If you're going to Laundry Boss, you'll be lucky if Donna is there. The items were returned today, but not as handed over. Some items were washed, some were not, and the best part was the unrequested dye job, NOT. Many of the items have fond memories attached, and now they are ruined, no warning phone call to say, "Hey we screwed up". Very irritating. If I could give minus stars I would. Won't recommend or use this service ever again. I get sh*t happens, but you have to own the sh*t when it happens, and you failed miserably.

It was a bit disappointing and very inconvenient that the WASHERS ONLY ACCEPT 25¢ and $1 coins. The DRYERS and Triple Load WASHERS ONLY ACCEPT 25¢ coins. But They have a functioning Change dispensing machine on site. Also, there are no instructions or guides on how to use each type of machine (especially the triple load washers). So, a first time user will be super confused. This isn't helped by the lack of staff on site. They have a secure Free WiFi and a TV that's on sometimes - though the channels are not my taste. There were brooms around to allow you clean up after yourself. Helpful. They also have a soap, bleach and softener dispenser on site (at extra cost). Along with a snack and soda machine. Just pray it doesn't steal your coins. I can't recommend the business because in addition to a few issues above, the owner is a little inappropriate or disrespectful in attitude when they do show up. Not a good thing considering the laundry is located in a religious Jewish neighbourhood with families. They recently added professional laundry/dry-cleaning services where you submit your clothes to the staff and they do a professional wash.

It's a mom and pop shop, which I am always eager to support, and the customer service was great. Really friendly, knowledgable and accomodating. Their prices are low, and they have specials if you bring in full suits rather than pieces. The owner has also recognized me from coming in every few weeks and is so nice. I brought a jacket in to get the sleeves shortened and she gave me a "special price" (I wanted to keep a buckle on the sleeve but didn't want to pay too much). They obviously treat their repeat customers well. The service is fast. They do same day work. Their hours are great - open early, late and weekends. They do a great job and I would highly recommend them. They do shoe repairs too, which I haven't tried yet.

When I did the dress was not in with the other dry cleaning. The male owner, hung the dress and went to cash me out. Something seemed off. I asked him to remove the plastic and the dress was RUINED. He was rude and told me he would fix it. I said, no, I will take it somewhere to see if it was fixable and he can compensate me for the damage. He refused. I will be taking this further as the owner lied about damage, then said not his fault its the manufacturer and refused to even apologize. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
