Don't just take my word for it; a NC Real Estate Commission report published in 2013 showed that for the first half of 2013, the pass fail rate for all candidates taking the NC state exam for the first time was just 61%. Superior's pass rate during that period was 73%. Trust me, you don't want to put in all that work, time and effort only to fail the exam and have to put in yet MORE TIME AND MONEY to study for a retake. You want one and done. Maximize your odds and maximize your time. Check out Superior School. They have a process and it works.

Super was a TERRIBLE investment. Money and time lost. even if you pass, they'll accuse you of cheating to make you pay for a 2nd class and about 90% of the people in my study class failed. and they're all presidents list students from college. I swear. I regret this.

The rent payments consistently get to me after the 15th of the month (even after signing up for direct deposit). Additionally, I have to arrange for my own maintenance person because they use expensive vendors and have a policy to send someone out for issues under $300 without your approval. I would not recommend this company. I believe they are very unprofessional. The comment below is completely untrue. I am sent an email every time my tenants pay. They have never paid late. Again, more unprofessional behavior by this company.

I highly recommend them they have helped a friend with a short sale, and I recently have hired them for the property management of my house in Charlotte. The staff and owner Yuriy are so friendly and easy to work with. They get back to me immediately with any concerns I might have and have answered all my questions (and trust me I had a lot) when it came to my house. My house was rented immediately after they took it over and I know that it's in good hands. The best part is they have taken all the worry away from me as a homeowner now landlord. I don't have to worry about a thing and I know my house is in good hands. Whether you are selling, renting, short sale, or any other kind of real estate transaction you can count on the team at Carolinas Metro Realty. They take their business seriously and treat their customers right.

In reality, the countertops were painted and the paint is now chipping like crazy and looks horrible, the buyers took the stove (which was included in the listing), damaging the countertops more, only one room has hardwoods, and the heat/air unit was undersized for the home, leading to daytime temps of 82 degrees with all the doors and window blinds closed and us having to purchase a new unit at a cost of over $7,000. The agent's response was that the seller said we need to keep it VERY COLD in the house at night so that the air can keep it cooler during the day, and the previous homeowner used window units. My children and I should freeze all night and still have to deal with almost 80 degrees during the day? And window units?? The Broker-in-Charge, Sabra Romeo, assured me it would be taken care of, then wouldn't respond to calls or emails the following week. I don't appreciate being lied to. The people in this office do not follow the Keller Williams Values and should be ashamed of themselves, and Keller Williams should look i to their business practices. We had to finally get an attorney to resolve these issues for us, which is absurd.

We weren't able to pick our agent for the corporate move, but two years later when we decided to sell again and move to a different location in the Charlotte area, Aly was the first person I called, due to her reputation. As it turns out, she did not disappoint. At times the world of real estate can be messy, but Aly went ABOVE AND BEYOND through the whole process to make sure everything went smoothly. Aly was able to use her network of resources to "refine the direction" and ensure every step ended positively for all. We are so happy we picked Alison Carlson!

It became a short sale situation and I quickly realized I needed experienced help in navigating the steps to purchase it myself. I used the resources on Zillow to educate myself on the different types of Realtors and once I knew what I needed I started keeping an eye out as I checked the daily listings. I found Carrie Fairman and she was all the things I needed: a local female that was licensed in NC that had short sale experience. Carrie is an incredible example of what a Realtor should be. She's mannerly, punctual, positive, informed, quick thinking, and not afraid to ruffle feathers to do what's right. Carrie goes toe to toe on her buyers' behalf not because she has to, but because she WANTS to protect her client. She's fierce in her determination to get them a fair shake and at the end of the day you just can't ask for more than that!! It took us 6 months to work my short sale deal that involved court dates and visits to the IRS office, but Carrie stuck right by me through it all. When I called - she answered. When I texted - she responded... every single time. Carrie was also invaluable when it came to connecting me to some amazing people including my mortgage lender, my closing attorney, my home inspector and my home warranty provider. I was determined to hire my own home inspector to be certain that I would get a fair and unbiased inspection report. I searched on Angie's List and found a home inspector that got 80 recent "A" reviews and it turned out that was the same exact home inspector that Carrie uses anyway, which said a lot to me :-) I really don't know where I'd have ended up if I hadn't found Carrie. I am SO TRULY grateful to Carrie Fairman for taking such amazing care of me during such a stressful process. I'll never forget her part in the purchasing of my first home... thanks Carrie!! :-)
