I used to be one of those moms who said I'd never put my babies in preschool. Not my precious little angels. Then I got an offer for my dream job. Childcare it was. I started my search, and lucked up on this place. The owner treated me like family, and immediately calmed all my fears about leaving my at the time, 2 and 3 year old, in her care. On our first trial run, the teacher welcomed my dynamic duo with open arms, and it was like they'd been there all along. Plus, they're open from 6am - 7pm. A dream come true for somebody like me who has to be at work in the burbs by 9am.
I knew this place was the best ever on my first day of work. I was more afraid than they were. I rang the bell, and my kids were instantly greeted like they were old friends. Ms. Diana is an angel, and my daughter instantly took to her. She cuddled and nurtured my scared little girl until it got to the point where I now get left at the door. Mr. Zachary, the director, is a godsend. My son took to him instantly, and he's one of the kindest people I've ever met. Each and every staff member in the place truly loves each and every one of the children in there, and it shows in all they do.
I couldn't ask for a better place for my children to learn and grow. Within a few weeks my 2 year old was on the bus telling me the colors of the cars in traffic. I was floored when she she told me "I love you" in Spanish. Every day my kids come home happily chattering about something new they've learned, or showing me some new art project.
They even help the kids potty train. In 6 months I went from 2 in pull ups to my son using the bathroom all the time *cue angels singing*. My baby girl is rapidly on her way *preps the angels for an encore*.
Run, don't walk. Run to this place if you're in need of childcare. read more
