Outer Limits VR Game Room is a locally owned and operated virtual reality experience at The Wharf. It opened its doors just as Covid hit so it was a rocky beginning but it's running on all cylinders and is a well run, safe, and very place for the whole family to immerse themselves in a great VR adventure that incorporates games and rides. There are 30+ plus different VR experiences like Jurassic coaster, Zombie castle, Ace flyer, Future rollercoaster, Space Racer, and more. There are height and a weight restrictions of at least 44" tall and maximum of 300 lbs, with a couple exceptions. There's a "warning" that anyone who is subject to vertigo, motion sickness, or migraines should refrain from these VR rides. It's first come first serve with no reservations but you can book a birthday, or other party, group activity, or special event but advance reservations are required. Tickets are $13 per game/ride or 3 tickets for $30 but they run daily specials like buy 3 and get one free. The individual durations are between 8-10 minutes. Now our recent visit was quite nice, Zack was great at fully explaining the entire process of what to expect and other staff members were very helpful and helped us by thoroughly explaining what to expect and helped with properly fitting us with our VR goggles. We chose the 6 seater ride and for the scary and adventurous option suggested by the staff. It was one looong rollercoaster ride that took us through a lot of different immersive places that was not only a ride but we were able to shoot at ghosts, zombies, and more. Hoots and screams were heard around all of us and it was exhilarating to say the least :-) Overall it was a fantasy high-tech, realistic and fun ride!!!!
