While visiting P-Town, I managed to rip a 2-inch hole in my tire on the granite curbs of Commercial Street, and since my C-Max Energi has no spare, and the patch kit was NOT going to work on this, I had roadside assistance tow it to Rego's. Ford's roadside assistance wanted to tow it to the nearest dealership an hour and a half away, but we asked around and the locals recommended Rego's at the end of the street (Commercial St) where we were staying...They were incredibly friendly and helpful, and fixed it quickly and at a reasonable price with the same original equipment tire type the car came with. He could easily have up-charged me for 2 tires, as is often recommended, depending on the level of wear, but he said the difference in mine from new ones was negligible, and only needed to install one new tire. Also, several years ago we'd stopped in there as well for a bulb for a tail light that was out (after looking all around town, since we'd been pulled over for it being out) - I think they charged us $2....I'd recommend them in a heartbeat....Pat mentioned he's been to many technical training classes on hybrids, and knows the systems well; though I only needed a tire; but appreciated his knowledge and enthusiasm... read more
