I cannot speak highly enough of outlander cycle repairs and Austin himself who is both the owner and chief technician. It was a Sunday evening and I had just arrived in Cedar Coty ready to do some mountain biking first thing in the morning. However as I was unloading my bike I noticed that my rear tire was completely deflated, and that the air was seeping out of the spokes. A few minutes of internet research and I found Outlander Cycle Repair open ... but candidly given it was Sunday afternoon I really didn't expect anyone to answer the phone, nor did I expect Austin to offer to come out to my hotel to actually help me fix my bike. Ten minutes later I was at his workshop, and despite the late afternoon he made the repair, and had me on my way in no time. I can't speak highly enough if his customer focus and customer service. I was particularly impressed with his attention to detail and making sure that he did everything perfect the first time. Too often these days so many local bike shops are overloaded, and they do not focus on quality but rather just getting product out the door. I was delighted that that was not Austin's approach. Austin is great! He came to my hotel at 8pm to service my bike before I do the Grand Canyon Divide. He was meticulous and really patient in looking over everything. And, his prices are super reasonable. read more
