Writer's Note: This…read moreis an updated review that I felt compelled to write after the following exchange that took place this morning. I don't know what happened to my original review, but I think you'll get the gist of it. This morning, I received a call from the owner of Grace Gardens and George's Tents & Events. George told me he heard I was planning a wedding for "next June or July". He seemed to have no knowledge about my past attempts to obtain a quote for a tent for May 26th, 2013 or the fact that it took three weeks for someone (now I know his name, Edmund) to contact me on July 7, 2012. George definitely did not know that Edmund in fact met with me, my wife, the bride's family, the sales manager, and the catering manager at Coronado Country Club at 1:00 p.m., five days later on Thursday July 12, 2012. George also apparently was unaware that we have been patiently waiting for a quote for the 7,000 square foot tent--almost one month later to the day. I informed George that after not hearing from Grace Gardens/George's Tents & Events for a couple weeks, we were subsequently forced to obtain two competing quotes--one from a local tent vendor in El Paso and one from Albuquerque. Both quotes arrived within three days and we've been in regular communication. After explaining to George all of the above, he felt the need to bash his competitors (the two private country clubs in El Paso) and replied, "I sense a negative vibe, so I am going to refuse to quote your event." I responded, "Thanks for your call." BUYER BEWARE!!!! Writer's Note: There were plenty of other problems that are not described above. What a wonderful experience I had. I rented an arch from them for my Wedding at Tom Lea Upper Park…read more Not only was the arch amazing but they went above and beyond. My Aunt was trying to help me save a few dollars and rented some chairs for me from somewhere else. Unfortunately, the chairs were really ugly. Imagine Events saw my predicament and when I was venting to them about the chairs from the other place, they helped save the day. They quickly ran back, got me some bows for my chairs that matched the color scheme of our wedding (effectively covering the ugly chairs). They also brought a table so I may use for the sand ceremony. The arch was beautiful, the chairs now inviting for guests, and the table for the sand ceremony helped to make the wedding as beautiful as you would see in a movie. This is the first time I have ever used an event planner. My daughter and I choose to use them for…read morethe "Day of" service for her wedding. I felt they guided us and communicated with us very well in what we needed to do. They're experience also helped us make better decisions along the way. They went above and beyond the "day of service". I never felt that I could not call them for advice. As the wedding neared, they graciously remind us of our tasks to ensure we would all be ready.
