It's a rather small outlet, but it's clean & has the stores I would shop at. Most of the stores are cheaper than other outlets I have been to & they have a lower sales tax, which gives you an even better bargain. The only downfall is that it's quite a drive to get there. read more

If you're looking for a deal, these outlets aren't anything special. I don't even know why it's called an outlet or "factory store" when nothing is discounted, on sale, on clearance, overstock, or last season. Perhaps it's because these "outlets" just opened on August 7th and everything is so new that it hasn't had a chance to get marked down but it was really disappointing for a "bargain hunter" or someone that is looking for a "deal". The outlets itself don't really have that many stores either. We quickly walked in and out of all the stores we wanted to browse in and circled the whole thing within an hour. A major plus is that the family restrooms are super cute. There are two toilets side by side, a "normal" height one and another one that is slightly lower to the floor for a child. There are also two sinks with a similar setup. A "normal" height sink and another sink next to it that is lower to the floor and can be reached by a child. A very cute setup for "mommy and me" and it was spotless. Sadly that was my favorite part of the outlets. read more

Black Friday at this outlet is a must. Great deals, plenty of parking, lines aren't that long. But here is the catch, arrive early.

It is in the middle of nowhere, but the city of Tejon (if Tejon is even considered a city), is still fairly new in terms of developing. The junction of the 5 and the 99 is a popular rest stop for those traveling from north or central CA down south, as central CA is filled with nothing but agriculture. I don't really see how it could attract people from south as LA would of been a much more ideal rest area on a lengthy road trip from San Diego, for example. read more

Bran new outlets off the five freeway just on the north side of the grapevine. Have been open for too long so everything still new and fresh and very clean. Look like a good choice of stores and food court. Nice place to stop and stretch your legs on a long drive. read more

Sales were pretty good 30-70% on select stores, this is still a young outlet so not as many stores as I would hope for. Stores are clean and tidy but the customer service is lacking... Only purchased from the Nike outlet store and scored some nice running shoes. There are also regularly priced stores here that rarely have sales. So don't always expect a discount! read more

These outlets are just what Kern County needed! I was so tired of driving at least an hour to shop outlets. They have a good selection of outlets for being so new. I love that the food court is made up of mostly local eateries (Tony's Pizza is the best!) There is lots of parking available all around for convience to whatever stores you want to go to. The walkways are clean, large and nicely decorated. There is also large fans throughout which is nice on warm days.The restrooms are large and very clean. We enjoy shopping here. Well worth the stop if you are driving by or if you live in the area. read more

This place is clean with lots of shops and decent prices. Great customer service in each store I went into.Lots of parking and Large bathrooms as well. Food court and fast food are close. This mall has a good variety of stores. It's brand new so well maintained. So why the one star. H&M - really deceptive. It's located and advertised as an outlet location, yet all their prices were what you would find in a regular H&M location. So how do they get away with this deception. They have a few clearance racks just like any other location with discounted products. Shame on the outlets for allowing this deception. I guess they wanted a big brand to draw the crowds in. Yah should fix your websites and all of your stores to record the correct times to be closes at 8 then posted 9pm. As it would save people time and money who drive a long ways to come here. This place is ok to come on the weekends. It looks like an absolute ghost town on weekdays. However, there are some good deals in the stores here and there. For the ammount of gas it takes to come out here, you can break even by buying the same thing at home in your neighborhood clothing store. Nothing special. I spent about four hours here yesterday afternoon with my honey. It was one of the longest days of my life! LOL So damn hot outside a perfect excuse to have to go into damn near every one of the stores. If I lived to be 1000 years old, I could do it without needing any of this stuff, unless you count the food. But I mean that's what we do as guys- waste our Sundays doing shopping to keep the peace. Stopped by these outlets twice in the past week. The first time we could not find anything that appeased us, so it felt like it was a bust. The clean restrooms actually brought us back for the second round a few days later while passing through Tejon Valley again. This time when we stopped by we found some good sales at the Puma store and Coach store. Like someone else mentioned in previous posts, the Michael Kors girls are a bit pushy in terms of sales, so don't feel obligated when shopping there. This outlet could use a bit more roof coverage between the stores since it was raining both times we were there and the smooth pavement can be a slip hazard. Overall, decent outlet experience and a good place to stop for a restroom break. read more

Stopped here going back to LA from the mountains we saw it and decided to stop and see what they have. Getting here from the freeway is a little confusing but you will figure it out. it has a big parking lot and the shops it's not as big as other outlets but it was very clean and nice looking! there's a couple of fountains thst are beautiful and they had a big Christmas tree set up by the food court! they also have a couple of ride on machines you put quarters in to let the kids play on! I didn't go into the food court as I wasn't hungry but next time I'm around there is will definitely eat there! read more

I've gone to the outlet center my last three visits to Bakersfield California. I enjoy walking through the different shops throughout the entire outlet. The only comment I have is that it would be nice to have more full service restaurants located inside of the outlet center instead of having to go to the locations out in front. read more

I am a Coach addict and have visited so many factory stores that I've lost count. I really enjoy this location at the Tejon Outlet Center. The employees have always been incredibly helpful and friendly. The few times I have asked about items that might not be displayed, they were always more than willing to check the back for me. We came here on a Monday morning on our way back to SF. It was awfully quiet as there were not much people walking around. The shops looked empty and the customer service was good because I guess they hardly get customer to service. There wasn't as much shops at the Citadel outlet in Commerce. I hope they can add more shops later on. The food court was very quiet as there were only few eateries to choose from. I hope they can more food places soon. Other than that, the shopping experience was pleasant as there were not much people or screaming kids. read more

The guys helping us pick out shoes were friendly and knowledgeable. They could explain the differences in shoes and why one would work better than another. However, when we checked out, the girl checking us out was more interested in talking to her friends then helping us. It was a disappointing ending to an overall positive experience. read more

I was happy to see this outlet! This place needs more road signs for cars exiting from the 5fwy North. I was lost looping around trying to find the outlet parking lot. The atmosphere and layout of the outdoor outlet was good. Foot traffic was a bit light. The store selections were OK, but the good deals in those stores weren't there. Sales tax is 8.25% compare to LA's 9+% for 2017 This might have a future with northern LA county population. read more

Small quaint outlet mall right before (or after) the grapevine, depending on which way you are coming from. Has decent offering. Food court is a tad skinny on options but has great AC...the foodcourt also has a play area for the little ones. read more

We stopped here on way back to Los Angeles from Yosemite National Park. It's small and not crowded even on Memorial Day weekend. However has enough good stores. The Banana Republic had very good sales. Worth a stop to check out. read more

Great new facilities. But, stores were lacking in inventory. Prices were generally the same as retail stores. Quality of products in general were inferior to regular retail. The outlet merchandise at certain stores are sourced to cheaper factories. There was no point in stopping here, was a waste of my time. read more

This was my first time visiting the outlets in this area. I was there the Sunday after Thanksgiving, lots of sales and not that many people, always a plus! The stores were clean and well organized. We visited Banana Republic (I got a 50% deal on a wool coat), American Eagle, TH, Columbia, Nike, etc. I will stop here next time we do another road trip. read more
