I hadn't realized there was a comic shop near me. After walking in, I realized why I'd never heard of them. Admittedly, they're apparently moving locations. I get it. But, I don't understand why they're open at all. I walked in with the intent of buying comics that had come out this week. They didn't seem to have any new comics. I asked the only employee where the new comics were, noting the sign encouraging customers to ask for help, but he gestured vaguely at some racks and said "over there". Turns out they have old comics mixed with new. They're all in bags already, which is odd and why I didn't realize. Their back issues are difficult to get to and in torn up cardboard boxes. I had the misfortune of going to Source Comics first. See, Source is a GOOD comic book store, so they have literally hundreds of new titles to see on a a four-tier rack about fifty feet long. Outpost had about 25 titles on a four-tier rack about eight feet long. If I'd gone to Outpost first, I wouldn't have realized what I was missing. Source is a much better place in every conceivable way. I have absolutely no idea how Outpost can be a viable business with their absolute lack of selection, to the shabby quality of its store, and to the complete disinterest of its staff. Won't be back. In a snapshot, I'd have to say this was one of the most unhelpful places I've ever entered. I went into the store hoping to sell some of the older Pokemon cards that I had collected over the years, and asked if they bought cards. The girl behind the desk gave me a one word answer: Sometimes. Nothing else, no elaboration. She didn't try to tell me when they bought cards or what kind of cards they were looking for. Not to mention she did it with the worst attitude I would have ever expected from a simple question. With her answer in mind, I tried to open my binder and show her what I had compiled to bring in. I barely even had it open before she shook her head; she wouldn't even look to see if I had anything worth purchasing. It was incredibly rude, and quite honestly exceptionally poor business practice. I would have understood if she had told me that they had no need of Pokemon cards at the time, but in all, the girl behind the desk spoke all of two words to me. I went to Outpost because someone else referred me to try there, but I will not be recommending it to anyone else. I don't know how their gaming experiences are there, but I was a collector more than I ever was a player. Besides, with such unfriendly people running the shop, why would you want to subject yourself to that? Do yourselves a favor and don't bother wasting your time. read more

Unimpressed with customer service. One should not wait over 10 minutes to be checked out. Personal calls should not happen during business hours. Good product and prices. Actually love the store but you NEED to improve your customer service or we can just take our business to amazon. A much less personal experience. read more

The place itself is basically a dump. The bathrooms are disgusting and usually have no soap to wash your hands. Or for that matter, paper towels to dry your hands. The carpeting looks to have never been vacuumed. While the gaming tables appear to have never been cleaned. There is a very small amount of merchandise to purchase. They have a "no outside food and beverage" rule which is a joke and inconsistently enforced. They do not share their Wi-Fi. And they have a disinterested and clueless staff to "help" you. The only redeeming factor is the people who go there to game. I have met some incredibly nice people there. read more

I needed to sell a very large amount of very exclusive stuff and when we got there we had to wait about ten minutes before we even got noticed and when they noticed us they said they didn't have any time for us because they had a Pokemon tournament going on... Very bad impressions and very bad owner I do not recommend this place. read more
