I was happy to attend their open house yelp event yesterday. They were able to introduce a variety of services and treatments with demos. From acupuncture, coolsculpting to fillers and botox. I'm impressed with their usage of advanced technology. It's fascinating to see what we can do to help us age gracefully or to improve our personal imperfections. You can also purchase quality skin products and makeup on your way in our out. I was fortunate to buy the VIP membership last night which is a great deal. Not only do you get deals on services but you get different services included example; microdermabrasion, Blu U, unlimited proellixe, etc. The staff are friendly, informative, and approachable. I highly recommend coming in and checking out what they have to offer. I will definitely be back soon.

This isn't the kind of spa I'm used to visiting so that kind of put me in a bit of an odd mood setting foot in the door, but given that I visited their open house I was happy to learn more about all the different products and services they offer and I think I might take advantage of one or two in the future. The makeup artist who provided me a makeup consultation was really quite helpful. I find the Jane Iredale products to be of very high quality and that is quite good. The rooms seem clean and well appointed for the types of services that they offer. Staff all seemed really happy to be at their jobs.

The meal planning is pretty good, and the recipes are pretty tasty, although it is a VERY strict diet...so its really not for people who go out to resturants/other people's homes regularly/ or anyone who enjoys the occasional treat now and again (which is ME..so I found that quite hard to adjust to). The one thing that really was hard was the fact that they insist you come in there 3 to 4 times a week..which is hard for anyone to do, if your working or going to school or both. And they also really really really push all their vitamins and supplements, which is another minus. If I had actually bought all the supplements they kept recommending I would have spent around $300 a week on the supplements alone..not including the cost of being on the diet program. And in all honesty I found that I lost just as much weight when I skipped all their supplement and took 1 or 2 of my Costo kirkland brand multi-vitamins a day. The staff were a bit hit and miss..some were great and really supportive and didn't push all those supplement too hard. While others just didn't seem to care to much, and only took notice of you when they were trying to push product..that's where the 3 stars come in...I'd give 2 and a 1/2 if it was an option.

I went to U Weight Loss because they were having a special and thought that it would be worth a try. Clinics such as this already have you in a vulnerable position because weight loss is a personal thing and the formula here seems to be to bombard you with a ton of information regarding their 'miracle products' and describe a range of things you MUST use (such as their log book - apparently akin to a bible). I chose a particular package and was told to wait outside for my 'products'. Once they were given to me some of the things I had thought I was getting were missing. The salesperson I spoke to told me I had made a mistake and basically berated me for not understanding what I had chosen, a conversation that got increasingly hostile and rude (what happened to the days of customer service?). I then said that I did not want to have the package after all, at which point I was told that they do not do refunds and sorry, I was taking these products. The products had never even been handed to me and were still sitting in a bag on the counter but I was told 'once off the shelf, they can't be sold again'. To this point, I have been dealing with a customer service nightmare with this company that won't end. I've never been treated this way by a clinic nor by any kind of place offering a service to people. Ultimately, I would say that U Weight Loss is a scam service, designed to encourage people to spend a lot of money on products they don't really understand with very little guidance. I went in for a package that I was told would be about 99 dollars, and ended up with a bill of 395 with a NO REFUND policy. Buyer BEWARE. There are better clinics out there, and this one is a nightmare in terms of customer service.
