I'm new to supplements and a lot of fitness stuff but he spent some time with me, found out what my goals were and recommended some things. And not just that but he explained what each of them did and how they work with my body. He even recommended some exercises (he is also a certified personal trainer). Ill definitely be going back to this store. Sometimes it's hard to know who to trust when you get into something new but I trust Xtremeline completely. I didn't feel like I was being "sold" on anything. I've been in to GNC and Popeyes and I felt like they looked down on me and, to make matters worse, they weren't knowledgeable about their products. If you are looking for supplements and nutritional products, this is the place to go. I live in South Edmonton and it is worth the drive to Sherwood Park - trust me! The meal planning is pretty good, and the recipes are pretty tasty, although it is a VERY strict diet...so its really not for people who go out to resturants/other people's homes regularly/ or anyone who enjoys the occasional treat now and again (which is ME..so I found that quite hard to adjust to). The one thing that really was hard was the fact that they insist you come in there 3 to 4 times a week..which is hard for anyone to do, if your working or going to school or both. And they also really really really push all their vitamins and supplements, which is another minus. If I had actually bought all the supplements they kept recommending I would have spent around $300 a week on the supplements alone..not including the cost of being on the diet program. And in all honesty I found that I lost just as much weight when I skipped all their supplement and took 1 or 2 of my Costo kirkland brand multi-vitamins a day. The staff were a bit hit and miss..some were great and really supportive and didn't push all those supplement too hard. While others just didn't seem to care to much, and only took notice of you when they were trying to push product..that's where the 3 stars come in...I'd give 2 and a 1/2 if it was an option.

The first time was an hour-long consultation where I just got to say everything that was bothering me. I really felt like she listened, and she understood my problems really well. She knew I didn't have much money, and was very accommodating for that, keeping her prescriptions to a minimum and letting me know what was essential vs. just good to have. The first time I went in it was my first laser experience and the technician took time to answer my questions (trust me I had plenty) and made me feel at ease. The rooms are very clean which is important to me as I am extremely picky about that kind of stuff. I also really appreciate their hours - they are open until 9pm most nights which makes it easier for me with my busy schedule to get in when I want to.

I have been wanting to get a brazilian wax for sometime now. I figured that since I had great service once, loved the place, and the prices are affordable that I would try this place again. BIG mistake! First of all they changed the location and downsized which was fine but did not notify me that it was in an apartment building. I was driving around in circles looking for a business building and found nothing. Luckily the receptionist agreed to meet up with me at the convenient store across the street to show me the place. When I entered I was led to a room and that was about it. Normally when I go the esthetician will sit down with me and have a brief consultation. Not at this location! I decide to inspect the room a little which had nothing but a bed and a chair. I thought that was weird since most places the room looks more spa like. Next I noticed that there was wax and other peoples body hair on the waxing table (first red flag that should've been my cue to leave). The woman then starts pounding on the door and asks me if I'm ready. Me thinking that I needed a consolation first was still fully dressed which annoyed her and she said I'll come back when you're stripped from the waist down. I took the protectant paper and tried to cover as much as the table as possible before she came back in again. She didn't cover me up with a towel or anything (most places always try to cover you up). She proceeds to grab the wax and immediately starts. Not only was the wax incredibly hot but she had the nerve to tell me to lie still without finding out if the temperature was ok. She was incredibly rough. She then picked up a pair of tweezers that was sitting on a table (a second red flag) and started removing my ingrowns. The whole session only lasted 5 mins. Seeing as she was the only one doing the services I noticed that she was running around from client to client. While I was getting my wax done someone else was in the other room in the middle of a facial which she took a break from to do my waxing and another client was in the middle of a hair cut. This rubbed me the wrong way as she should not be double/triple booking clients who come to the salon to take their time and relax. I also was to receive a complimentary hand and foot massage which was done in the middle of the lobby by one of the workers who delivers pamphlets and happened to walk in at that moment. If that's not unprofessional I don't know what is. Again I didn't like how she was running around and ditching other clients half way through their services to service someone else. To make my experience worse I had wax stuck all over me. When I got home my nether regions were waxed shut. Not only was I unbelievably sore but I was bruised too. They get an extra star because the first time was great. I was very disappointed as the quality went down hill fast. I don't even know why I bothered tipping or staying. I won't be visiting this location again.
