I went into Pure clinics and after I received the body scan was immediately pressured into getting a package and going in to be assessed. I caved and ended up getting the 3 month assessment; which consists of a bunch of appointments that will be cancelled by the company. I had at least 3 sessions in my first month cancelled by them. They try to move you all over the place (west Clinic, East Clinic, south etc.) I had developed a pretty good bond and rather enjoyed going in to see my behaviour coach and then half way through I was emailed saying he was moved to another clinic and that he was replaced with someone else, a few weeks later I received another email that my dietician was also being moved so she was being replaced as well. I went into this clinic in hopes of having a better understanding of weight loss and tools to achieve it in a healthier way however they have not taught me anything I haven't already known or could have received for free from a doctors recommendation. I also have lost 5lbs from working out and eating healthy and Whole Foods on my own and haven't been back to Pure clinics since November 2017 (joined September 2017 & lost 0lbs even though they "guarantee 5lbs a month") But still have to pay them 175$ a month till September 2018. My own fault and my own stupidity for falling for this but if you really truly think your health is in need of professional advice and guidance... I still recommend not to go to this company.

I was happy to attend their open house yelp event yesterday. They were able to introduce a variety of services and treatments with demos. From acupuncture, coolsculpting to fillers and botox. I'm impressed with their usage of advanced technology. It's fascinating to see what we can do to help us age gracefully or to improve our personal imperfections. You can also purchase quality skin products and makeup on your way in our out. I was fortunate to buy the VIP membership last night which is a great deal. Not only do you get deals on services but you get different services included example; microdermabrasion, Blu U, unlimited proellixe, etc. The staff are friendly, informative, and approachable. The makeup artist who provided me a makeup consultation was really quite helpful. I find the Jane Iredale products to be of very high quality and that is quite good. The rooms seem clean and well appointed for the types of services that they offer. Staff all seemed really happy to be at their jobs.

The one thing that really was hard was the fact that they insist you come in there 3 to 4 times a week..which is hard for anyone to do, if your working or going to school or both. If I had actually bought all the supplements they kept recommending I would have spent around $300 a week on the supplements alone..not including the cost of being on the diet program. And in all honesty I found that I lost just as much weight when I skipped all their supplement and took 1 or 2 of my Costo kirkland brand multi-vitamins a day. The staff were a bit hit and miss..some were great and really supportive and didn't push all those supplement too hard. While others just didn't seem to care to much, and only took notice of you when they were trying to push product..that's where the 3 stars come in...I'd give 2 and a 1/2 if it was an option.

Upon visiting a physiotherapist after the two week period, they said I was past the most crucial point of recovery and now was just working on pain reduction. I don't trust my medical state with her at all and am looking to change. Driving down there to hear her tell me I'm alright when I feel terrible is such a waste of time. The front desk is also very unprofessional, as once I was late to a phone appointment and apologized (as it was my fault) and they told me "Dr. Akbar is very angry at you right now and this is your final warning, else we will charge you $50." Then proceeding to reaffirm "She is very very upset at you." I got scolded over the phone like a child after trying to explain. I can't handle Dr. Akbar.
