Poor quality furniture, shady sales people, misleading contract information vs. verbal agreement. Long story short, Outten brothers stole money out of my wallet when i walked through those doors. They later admitted the furniture they sold us was getting many complaints and sold it to us anyway. When asked for a refund, that's when the contract said 22% interest when we verbally agreed to 0% interest for a year AS ADVERTISED. We made a double payment the first month, and when the replacement table came and was a piece of crap also, we called the next day to return. When they refused, i said "so you are telling me i'm obligated to give you my money?" And "CHRIS" said "YEAH YOU ARE" like a complete A_HOLE. Trying to keep my husband from going across the counter at this guy, he thankfully left the room and let a much nicer gentleman handle this. I asked to see where it said we could not return defective merchandise in writing, which they cannot produce. I RELUCTANTLY AGREED to pay the $69 delivery fee (so mad at this) and After going back and forth for a month, the lending company decided that we deserved all of our money back and agreed to refund us 100%.
Outten Brothers has issues. They refused to refund all the money. Absolutely ridiculous. This was by far, a horrible experience and should not have been made so difficult. BTW this whole charade is going on 5 months now..... read more
