He loves to go outdoors in the natural play area. Recently, he showed off his ability to add "really big numbers" and how he's now sounding out words. CMC lives up to everything Montessori should be--hands on, self-guided, and collaborative. The classroom is beautifully laid out so the kids can move around, preparing snack or doing a big "work" on a rug. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness, order and processes in place. The teachers are amazing. Because of this school, being a working parents has worked for us. Their staff truly cares for the children, knowing their names even when they aren't in their class. The kids truly have a day of fun, learning and play. The teacher tenure is outstanding, it is so nice to see so many of the same teachers caring for my second with the same attention and noticing the similarities between the siblings. The owners don't cut corners; extra programs like music class, field trips (older age kids), and quality snacks are included. While this is a business, they put the interests of the children and the families first. One night a serious accident caused many parents to stuck in traffic and late. Our children were fed dinner and cared for without a second thought, we were just asked to take our time and drive safely. While this wasn't the closest location to our home, we made the drive because it was worth it. We now sadly leave because of school-aged children.

The teachers all seemed to love him and did a great job of letting us know how his day was. I never once worried if he was well taken care of or ate enough (he's a picky eater) because they always did their best and kept us well informed. I also really appreciated how they approached any misbehavior. You know, our toddlers tell us everything and for the most part some kids are just learning how to play well with others and I feel that this school really gave space with that while also doing the necessary incident reports. Lastly, our son was blessed to have grown with his classmates.
